Loved this sexy single dad/forbidden rom-com!

I absolutely loved this sexy single dad/forbidden rom-com! Loring has fast become a favorite author, as I fall for her stories that are filled with humor, heart, and sizzling heat! This is about Shane, an actor and single dad who is in dire need of a nanny. He is so patient, and doting on his adorable twins who keep him busy and sleep deprived. His best friend's younger sister is back from France and looking for a job. Willa is a smart, quirky perfumer who has had a crush on Shane since she was young. She connects instantly with his twins, and jumps at the chance to be his temporary live-in nanny while she starts her own perfume line. She is able to help Shane with, not only his twins, but his insomnia as well, with her creative essential oil combinations. I laughed so hard at her inner musing, and how everything relates to smells. She is a wealth of crazy facts and she charmed me just as fast as she charmed Shane, his twins, and his ex. wife. Shane is so down to earth, adorable, caring and funny. He tries to fight his attraction to Willa, to be just friends, but he realizes he has also been intrigued by Willa since their first meet cute. I loved that this romance doesn't have alot of angst, but it does have just enough bedlam to make me completely satisfied.
Connor Crais and Erin Mallon, along with Emma Wilder, and Jason Clarke, did a great job narrating this hilarious and heartwarming romance and bringing it to life. They did a great job embodying these characters and setting the stage for all the fun, and passion to come. They all have a wonderful range of voices and expressions that I love to get lost in and make this story pure pleasure!

Excellent narration

I’ve read the story before but the Palisades edition with duet (full cast?) narration of Sleeper was excellent. Erin Mallon, Connor Crais, Jason Clarke and Emma Wilder are all familiar narrators. They did a fabulous job.

The story was a cute brother’s best friend/celebrity/temporary nanny situation with all the humor you expect from a Kayley Loring book. I thought the bonus author’s note at the end was especially sweet,

Perfect Audio Experience

As a longtime fan of Kayley Loring, I was so excited to listen to this newly re-recorded version of one of my favorite books—and it absolutely delivered.
The new cast of narrators is outstanding. Each voice brought a unique layer of charm, humor, and emotion to the characters, making the story feel fresh and even more immersive than I remembered.
Their performances made me laugh, tear up, and smile like a goof. It’s amazing how the right narrators can breathe new life into a beloved story.

The book itself is classic Loring—sweet, sexy, and full of heart. Shane, the single dad, is such a sincere and lovable character, and Willa is wonderfull and genuine. Their chemistry is perfect, and the twins are hilarious and sweet. I especially loved how Willa’s passion for creating scents gave the story a unique, sensory richness. Between the brilliant writing and the incredible narration, this audiobook was a complete delight from start to finish.

If you're already a fan of Kayley Loring, this is a must-listen. And if you're new to her books— that's a great place to start.

Multicast duet narrated adorable love story. Kayley Loring writes hilarious and romantic love stories. The narrators are spectacular and the story is dreamy. Loved it!

Kayley Loring’s banter is RAZOR SHARP on the page!!!

Connor Crais and Erin Mallon bring the banter to LIFE with their swoony laid back comedic timing! Not to mention the PERFECT narrators for the children, Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke! Those two had us all in stitches laughing from the get go! It’s snappy and real, almost like a screwball comedy BUT with real modern vibes. It’s MAGIC!!!
All of their voices complement each other so well and the main narrators fully embody Shane and Willa! You can FEEL the tension, the heat, the sarcasm, the softness… it feels like your eavesdropping on two real people falling love!
Connor’s dreamy, low-key tone is chef’s kiss! He makes you believe this guy’s charm is insanely lovable, sexy but his vulnerability is like a rare kind of charisma! Erin’s fierce energy is hilarious and heartfelt. She makes me want to hug Willa and hang with her on the weekends! She gives Willa the sass and strength she deserves, while also letting us feel every crack in her emotional armor.
Kayley writes so the audience is so immersed and the romantic tension builds deliciously thanks to her pacing and tone.
This audiobook felt like a warm hug with some blush-worthy spice but as a mood reader/listener, I can assure you that I would listen to this any day and at any time!

Wonderfully done!

This is a nice listen! I enjoyed a lot of different things about it. Willa’s job or aspiring job is so different from what I have read before. Her mention of different layers of scents was wonderful as was her love of smells and essential oils. Shane just seems off. For a big star he sure didn’t get recognized much. I loved his daily sleep journal writings. The best thing about him are his two adorable children. I loved their antics and how involved in the story they were. I mean Pocket Snacks! The last thing is the connection between Willa and Shane...that first kiss was sexy as heck!

I did listen to this on audio and Erin Mallon, Connor Crais, Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke did a super job. This is a wonderful duet that is enjoyable and funny.

Audio gold for a fun story

Kayley Loring writes such fun stories with the best dialogue, don't hesitate to grab this gem! A tired dad, a nerdy, beautiful perfumer plus hilarious twins make for an entertaining listen you won't want to pause.

Full Cast Narration!!

I love the OG version of Sleeper by Kayley Loring, but the Palisades version is a wonderful, sweet treat for those that love Shane and Willa! Connor Crais and Erin Mallon perform in duet with Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke rounding out the cast. These 4 fantastic narrators bring out the best in Shane, Willa, Summer and Lucky!

This book is endearing, funny, sassy, spicy, and sweet. I highly recommend listening to the Palisades version!
