this book was an ok read, I was looking for more action and I got more sex than anything

Fall in love with Evan!

I love a good military romance and if you add in a taboo, it's all the better! Evan is home on leave. With his friends finding their soulmates, he is now seeing what he is missing in life. When Alison comes around, he knows in an instant, she is his forever. Alison, being older than Evan and knowing his playboy reputation is not interested in his attention. But the more he pursues, will she be able to resist? And what will happen when he leaves? Is she willing to risk her heart? I love Makenna Jameison's style of writing. Her heroes are swoon worthy, and Evan is hard to not fall for. Alison's hesitancy is something I can understand and her immediate reactions to all situations realistic. Their banter and Evan's persistence is endearing!

Sophie James just enhances this great story with her fabulous narration. I love her voice, so easy on the ears and so many distinguishable voices. She is a wonderful storyteller brought this book to life!

Great Story & Narration🎧 Sweet & Spicy🔥

I enjoyed this sweet & spicy romance, it is well written with interesting storylines that grabbed my attention right from the start and held it right to the end. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored Evan, he know what he wanted and he was determined to get it. He is tired of playing the field and is looking to settle down with one girl, he only thing is the one he has his eyes on doesn’t want to get involved. But he is up for the challenge and the chase. Alison does not want to get involved with guys who are players, she has learned her lesson, she needs guys who are on the same page as her, ones who are in it for the long haul. She meets Evan at her friends house but he is too young for her, but he does not see a problem with it. I liked how everything plays out in this book, it is plotted out nicely and there is never a dull moment. There is plenty of drama, angst, a thrilling and suspenseful moment, heartfelt moments and once Allison got past her issues the start of a wonderful romance. Makenna Jameison thank you for this great story & the emotional rollercoaster ride.

Sophie James is a talented narrator and voice artist. She does a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work, she captures the characters emotions and projects it into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

holy Hotness this audio book was absolutely fantastic and I have read the book but having heard it narrated was so good. can't wait to listen to more of these audio books.

Caring Sexy Seal!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Sophie James has written another heartwarming tale of caring sexy Seals seeking their life-long loves. Her plot and character development creates a story that you will fall in love with. Evan is tired of his player ways and wants to settle down. Alison is drawn to Evan but his playboy reputation and age makes her shy away from him. I love how the author develops this attraction between the two characters. Too often they jump to conclusions without discussing the problems. After one of them faces death, can this finally bring them together? The narrator puts so much heart into this story. She gives the characters distinctive voices and brilliantly displays their feelings. I find her a pleasure to listen to. I highly recommend this Audible book. I hated for it to end.

not an Ali fan

I didn't like or agee with the age biase. It could have cost her a lifetime of love. Ali was closed
minded and closed off at times. Why so rigid? Everyone experiences heart break if you're alive.I liked Evan's tenacity maturity. and protectiveness. For a nurse and supposedly older woman she's impulsive and immature in her actions. Going for a run without an inhaler and having asthma!! Not smart. Smh. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.

Great story!

I really liked this story! The characters were easy to read and the story was a quick but fun listen.

Sophie James was new to me. I liked her voice.

Good Seal story

I loved Evan and thought he was a really sweet guy. Alison drove me a little crazy because I felt like she just kept leading Evan on throughout the book. I know she was hurt before but it took her the entire book to finally give him a chance. Overall I thought it was a good story. The narration was good.
