the whole storyline was good

what i didn't like was the way the narration was told. I believe the narrator needs more practice. The storyline was good but the narrator speaking slow and drawn out made it boring.

Intense, Suspenseful, and Steamy

Wow, this book pulled me in right from the start. Nikolai and Katarina had amazing chemistry. This mafia romance is intense, suspenseful, and steamy. The storyline is action packed and filled with twists and turns. I couldn't put this book down!! I highly recommend this page turner!.

Martina Ciccia did a great job bringing Nikolai and Katarina to life. She did great portraying their emotions. I didn't love some of the male voices that she did but overall it was a great listen.

Nikolai and Katarina

This is the audiobook. I previous read the ebook. The audio made this book come to life!i love Nikolai and Katarina’s characters together. They compliment each other well. They have a lot of chemistry. I liked seeing how their relationship developed after Katarina agrees to be with Nikolai. This book contains some suspense and violence. I liked the plot and how the story came together. I can’t wait to see which characters are next in this series.

This was a very good dark mafia romance. It had touch her and d!e vibes, which I love. Martina Ciccia did a very good job with both the male and female parts but I think the book would have been even better with male and female narrators. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Taking what he wants

This is a gritty, page-turning, tale of the mafia/Bratva with killing, kidnapping and violence a plenty. The characters are complex and well written that they come alive in the pages. There is a happy ever after but more drama before it occurs. I recommend this story it is worth the read.

Life mates

This book is a great love story. It is filled with palpable emotions and violence that comes with the lifestyle of the Bravata. Nicolas knows what he wants. He goes after it as only he can. He is a strong alpha male who needs a strong woman. This is their love story.

Getting What He Wants

This story was full of excitement and suspense as events unfolded. Nikolai’s desire to marry Katarina drives the plot into actions from all parties. The tension from the danger and emotional nuances performed by Martina Ciccia was evident throughout this audiobook. I enjoyed the fact that she could narrate multiple characters, including their accents. It was an easy listen!

What I liked- the book was easy to read, fast paced, and well written. And the hero likes the heroine to finish first and more often.
What I didn’t- points deducted because Kata’s father went back on his word more than once and Nikolai STILL went all in with him. It seemed a foolish decision. I don’t care who he’s related to, once a person breaks their word like that….
Narration review- I wasn’t as impressed with the voice acting as I was with the story. The narrator’s voice wasn’t as expressive as I would like, particularly when she was doing the male POV. But she was clear and easy to understand.

Dark mafia fun

If you like dark mafia romances this is one heck of a ride!! I throughly enjoyed all the tropes in this one!! This is dark though so definitely check your trigger warnings! It wasn’t the darkest I’ve read but does have some darker tones! The narrator does a wonderful job going between the different voices for the characters and I enjoyed listening to her a lot! Ok now on to talking about the tropes so scroll away if you don’t want spoilers! I really enjoyed the kidnapping while also saving her! I’m not usually one for pregnancy or accidental pregnancy but I feel like it was done and talked about really well here! All in all I really enjoyed this book!.

Great chemistry and narration

Nikolai and Kata have an arranged marriage. Kata to me was not my favorite. However the chemistry between Nikolai and Kata was very evident. There was physical connection between the, but the emotional conncetion fell a bit flat for me. The plot had some mafia and rival family elements. I enjoyed the narration. It was very easy to listen to and was very dynamic in the voices used.
