"Round Midnight" is my contribution to the anthology of paranormal short fiction, From Shadows and Nightmares. It is an unusual offering, combining a cop story with a ghost story. It is the tale of a DC cop's on- and off-duty ghostly encounters with a childhood friend who died in his youth.

Finally, in a lonely mountain lodge enshrouded in menace, the story comes to its breathtaking climax.
