I really enjoyed Rough Around the Edges. I give Roxy credit for doing whatever she needed to do to pay the bills. Honesty pays off in the long run and getting drunk never solved anything.

I actually really liked this!

I found myself being pulled right in to this book. I wasn’t bored at all. There are several characters, but not too many to keep track of, and none that I absolutely hated! The romance is sweet and kind of interesting. There weren’t too many surprises, but the story flowed seamlessly just the same.
The narrator was good, though there are some sound quality issues. Not terrible ones but a little distracting here and there.
I’ll look forward to more from this author!!

Funny and sweet

This book was funny, sweet, easy to follow and most of all was authentic in the relationships between all of the characters. The roommate Clara had me laughing out loud multiple times. I enjoyed the British humor and I thought the narrator did a great job between all the different characters. For a first book, this book came out with a bang. Definitely would recommend.

It was so good and enjoyed it sooo much. The narrator did a good job but there was some sound problem. Noisy background noise. Otherwise, it was great!
