Publisher's summary

Joining us at Audible Studios is British author Rosamund Lupton, who is known for her novels Sister and Afterwards, and who released her highly anticipated fourth novel, Three Hours, in January 2020.

Lupton studied literature at Cambridge University, graduating in 1986. After graduating, she wrote for Literary Reviews and was invited to join the Royal Court Theatre. During this time, Lupton won a television play competition and earned herself a job as a screenwriter. While her husband, a doctor, was working all hours, Lupton decided that as an author she could write around her kids being at school. So, after much work, her first novel, Sister, was published. It went on to be a BBC Radio 4 Book at Bedtime, a Sunday Times and New York Times best seller, and winner of Richard and Judy's Best Debut Novel of 2011 Award.

Lupton's second novel followed suit, heading straight into the Sunday Times best seller list, and awarded Best Book of 2012 by Amazon USA. Her third followed the example by being selected as a Richard and Judy book club pick and also entering the Sunday Times best seller list.

We chatted to Rosamund Lupton about her career as a writer and author and how she creates such thrilling reads.
