Cozy Murder Mystery, #9 of 9 But works great as Stand Alone

I jumped into this series with this book, #9 in the series, and it worked great as a stand alone. The book is awash with believable situations and characters in this cozy murder mystery.

Sheridan’s reputation precedes her!

A man is found dead in the country club parking lot by Maddie and her boyfriend. When Sheridan and Brett go to pick up Maddie, a reporter takes their photo with the police and now everyone thinks she’s actively investigating. Just seeing her, the murder is threatened by Sheridan. Sheridan is trying to go about her business and she’s threatened, attacked several times, shot at, and a victim of a deliberate car accident - twice! But, never fear, her insights do help the police and they catch the killer and uncover more. I love Maddie’s homecoming dance and college preparations. The characters and their interactions are so realistic it reminds me of my girls years ago. The narration is perfect and brings the characters and story to life. I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.

Sheridan solved another murder

Risky Business, Another Murder is book 9 in A Sheridan Hendley Mystery by Christa Nardi. I always enjoy mysteries by Christa Nardi. I find she writes stories that have wonderful characters and an very interesting story. I have read and listened to this series and Sheridan and Brett have become book friends. Donald is a financial advisor and no one expects him to be murdered. I find that Sheridan uses solid investigation techniques which only leads to a more realistic read. Alyssa Baumann gives an enjoyable narration. I think everyone will enjoy this series.

Can't help thinking the victim was a creep.

I listened to this book while exercising. It is well written by Christa Nardi and narrated by Alyssa Baumann. This is the ninth book in the A Sheridan Hendley Mystery series. As usual, the victim isn’t very likable. The more we find out, the more we see why others want him dead.

The twists and turns were well-plotted and I enjoyed the story.

I recommend this book and the series. Sheridan doesn’t try to place herself in danger and knows to keep family informed on her whereabouts while investigating.

I recommend this series and this book.

Sheridan in Danger

Poor Sheridan is the target in this book. Someone tried to get at her a number of times. Good thing she is on the alert ecerytime. The race is on to solve this murder. Alyssa Baumann has captured the character of Sheridan Henley perfectly.

Loved how this story was all over the place in a well written way. Christa sure can spin a yarn.

Brilliant Character Driven Mystery with Heart!

Rumor has it that Dylan Woodlawn’s financial dealings aren’t exactly on the … up and up, in fact some might say they are downright risky! Maddie, out walking with Alex, stumbles across Dylan … deceased! Engrossing, character driven, action packed, and brilliantly plotted, “Risky Business - Another Murder” is a fantastic addition to a fabulous series! I loved how intricate, yet easy to follow this action packed, smooth flowing plot was! There’s never a dull a dull moment, plenty of suspects, wonderful, richly defined, fully developed characters and the dogs I look forward to falling in love with in every book of the series are all here! It’s series’ such as this you hope never end! I love how the main characters interact, and how the characters added to make this story as special as it is, are fully formed and fit right in! Everything and everyone makes perfect sense, and once the “villain” is revealed, all my questions have been answered, AND I am perfectly satisfied! The narration is beautifully clear, perfectly emotional, and fantastically timed! I loved everything about “Risky Business - Another Murder! Five Fabulous Stars!

Great mystery

This mystery will keep you guessing about the identity of the culprit until the very end. There was a lot of intriguing suspects and great characters. I loved the dogs. Alyssa Baumann was wonderful in her narration of this book. She really brought the characters to life. I received this audiobook for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review.

Sheridan's Newest Case

I enjoyed book 9 of the "Sheridan Hendley Mystery" series. Sheridan was drawn into a murder investigation of an investment advisor, and this time Sheridan had her own share of troubles as the puzzle of who was the murderer got closer to being solved. The story had so many twists and turns. I enjoyed all the clever clues that led to the murderer. I liked the characters and the family interaction. The father's feelings about his daughter's growing maturity made the characters more realistic. Alyssa Baumann's narration was entertaining, and her performance kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
