A true story of perseverance

I'm not even sure how to start this review other than saying that Sean Roger's is a true role model and his story should be looked at and used to guide others. This book will leave your jaw on the floor. This will pull tears from your eyes like a waterfall. It will give you a sense of drive and courage to become better and to tackle your own challenges. His introspection is a humbling display of someone, who to many military veterans, is one of the best. Truly wonderful book and well narrated by the author himself.

This book has made me a better man, due to me absorbing wisdom and lessons from a better man that that has been around longer than me, and knows how to persevere through hardships and experiences. Beautiful and meaningful this book is. Can not recommend enough if you’re a lost soul trying to find your purpose in life.

I found this book great. I resonated with many of the bad habits that the author picked up due to childhood abuse/neglect. I see some of the same things within myself and this book was eye opening and has given me a new perspective about how running away from your past and not acknowledging it does no good.

Face your demons head on, or they will eventually catch up to you.
