This is one of the best military books that highlights the importance of the dealing with personal as well as professional health. Has shed light on my personal life after 27 plus years of military service. Thank you for your courage, devotion and compassion for writing this book and helping our brothers and sisters in arms.

The Real Truth of America’s Most Elite Killing Machines.

A brutally honest account of life’s high ups and tragic downs for one of our most elite soldiers. The last chapters were so difficult to listen to only because Tom lays out his very personal crash & burn.

Wow! Amazing book

This book was the spark of hope I needed, it kept my attention and gives hope to ones fighting PTS thank you Tom and your wife. I will be looking into the foundation and programs offered. I Highly recommend this to any VET or any person that endured a traumatic event.

Warriors Mindset

Great read about Combat and Garrison and how PTSD doesn't discriminate. if interested in learning about mental and psychological signs through an Elite Operator's perspective, listen no further.

Powerful

I purchased this book for the stories of Mogadishu, little did I know that the PTS message would be so powerful and hit so close to home for me.

I am not a military combat veteran but after 22 years in law enforcement I have seen a lot of things and, like Tom, did not deal with them in the most constructive ways… or even close.

I love his message on PTS and his foundation. I will be sharing this book with many friends in the LE community.

Don't Skip Over This Book

For some reason, I was hesitant to get this book. I enjoy the genre so it was in my recommended list but it didn't jump off the shelf at me. Most books in the genre are written by Seals but as a veteran of the Army (82nd Abn), I've always been more inclined to learn about Army experiences. Books on Delta are few & far between so I decided to give it a chance.

I'm glad I did. It was one of those "can't put down" books. I was listening to it instead of doing anything that wasn't priority 1. The missions are extremely well told & the ultimate mission is exactly what is needed to be told, understood, & acted on by anyone that cares about our troops.

The one downside is that the book ends. The good thing is that where it ends, new ones are beginning & I hope written. Thanks Tom for sharing!
