Story
We are seeing more women in the workforce than ever before, but despite reaching high-paying successful positions, women struggle with growing their wealth and maintaining finances. Most of the time, this struggle stems not from the inability to monitor and budget the money; rather, it originates from the lack of education and recourses that are available for young women or women in general. For some, financial education might be Everest, but even the most dangerous mountains can be conquered with the right information, patience, and resilience.

She saw what other moms had—vacations, birthday parties, a house full of furniture—and felt ashamed that she and her son lived in a small apartment and ate dinner on the floor. Worse, when her feelings began to exhaust her, she binge-shopped, reasoning that she’d feel better after a trip to the mall.

Publisher's summary
Do you dream of a future where you are rich, and you didn’t have to worry about money?
You cannot be rich, at least not with your job as a nurse. Everyone tells you this, and you have gradually come to believe that maybe getting wealthy has been preserved for people in other careers–with bigger paychecks.
It doesn’t help that there are not enough role models around you or even in the world to show you that it’s possible.
So, you have settled into the common lifestyle, living from paycheck to paycheck, and getting into debt to survive in between them, getting by, just like everyone else.
Does this sound like a place you are in?
If you have answered yes, then this book has been written to help you get out of that status quo that many of us get trapped in.
The fact that you are here means that you have a desire to do better, and you want to change the narrative.
Are you wondering…
How can I become rich, when all I have is my paycheck?
How can I save, when my paycheck is barely enough to cover my needs?
Can I handle investment while I work full time as a nurse?
How do I manage my money better?
How do I make my money work for me, so I don’t work for money my entire life?
If you have these and other related questions, I have the answers for you in this book. In my career as a nurse, I have faced circumstances that may be similar to yours.

Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair. For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to "settle-for-less", there is an alternative.

Most diet books teach you to set short-term weight loss goals. Whether low-carb or low-fat, the typical plan goes like this: restrict your food choices, exercise until exhaustion, and swallow stacks of supplements. These “solutions” do a better job of lightening your wallet than lightening you. Meanwhile, the healthcare industry fails to prevent chronic disease. Rather than showing people how to remain healthy and prevent illness through proper nutrition, the system offers drugs and surgery to manage symptoms.

Not impressed
This book shared nothing meaningful to help me grow. The information was simply to basic. I was expecting more insight into how to become a rich nurse. This book was full of negative advice.
