Sad it will never be finished
I’ve enjoyed each new book in the series, some a bit more than others. I have been waiting with dwindling patience for updates on this and other series she was writing, only to learn recently that she passed away in early 2020. RIP Sheila Connolly and thank you for many years of enjoyment over many series’!

Good & Redundant
I’ve enjoyed the series, and I’ve been frustrated by redundancy beyond what is necessary for a reader who jumps into the middle of the series. Also, Leslie is an ungrateful and despicable character. Time for a well-placed lightning bolt!

Mystery Lover
Sheila Connolly doesn't seem to write any bad books. This picked subjects that the story ran around, then brought the subjects and the characters together in the end perfectly. It was so intriguing that I didn't put my Kindle down.

Well researched

Fascinating idea.
A little simple, but fascinating anyway. This series has helped me through a hospital stay. Complicated enough, not too confusing if you are interrupted and have to catch up.
