I loved this book
absolutely loved it I have been doing a lot of martial arts in my life and the way that this author described the battle scenes was as if I was right there. This book is inspiring and insightful and it is a great listen
I was on the edge of my seat for every chapter.

Awesome series, bad narrator on #3
I’ve read the entire series in print so when I saw them in audio format I was truly excited!
Book one was wonderful, with a great narrator. Then I saw that book 2 isn’t available. Disappointing, but since I’m so familiar with the story I listened anyway. I found that the narrator actually detracted from the characters.

Vivid & Compelling
If you want a vivid portrayal/example of some of the possible outcomes of colonizing a fertile planet (with a sci-fi/fantasy twist), then read this story.
Warning: Some of the darkest elements of human nature are portrayed in this story. I do not recommend it for young adults. Of course, I would have read it anyway.
