Finding God and His comfort in the midst of pain.

I "accidentally" (by the grace of God!) stumbled across Michele Cushatt, and I've discovered the heart of love from our Heavenly Father flows through her pen straight to my own heart as I read her words. I think the reason why her words resonate so much with me is because she gives the reader permission to be human and broken while still reaching for hope at the same time. She states it well in the beginning of the book because she writes to readers who are "drowning in impossible questions that threaten to take down your faith." She writes to the "truth seeker who simply wants to know whether the God she's heard about isn't an illusion. And Michele writes to the one "who fears that your pain and losses are proof that God is disappointed in you, angry with you, and has left you." I read Michele's words in short bursts as I try to soak in all of the understanding, compassion, and hope she offers in the quest to show us the truth that GOD NEVER LEAVES! I'm learning that His love is truly relentless

Such an excellent book to reveal how to push onward even when the enemy is trying to pull us down. Thank you Michele for being so vulnerable, open and honest with your journey so we don't feel alone when we are in the same trials.
This is one of those books that I will listen to over and over again because there is so many layers and so much we can glean from walk.

I was drawn into Michelle’s story and resonated in multiple ways…what was deeply encouraging was the emphasis on God’s presence & relentless love in the midst of struggle, questions, pain, confusion, etc…God does not forsake us and the stories we live and are intertwined with are an opportunity to believe and embrace His great love. It is often the hardest parts of our journey where intimacy with Jesus grows. Michelle’s story is such a story and I highly recommend listening to the wisdom God has knit into her life. So encouraging!

Love story

I really love Michelle story and most of all her faith. Anytime we are going through it doesn’t feel good and most people do not push through. They give up and give in. Whatever that looks like it normally isn’t good. But Michelle faith is what kept me in the midst of my storm. Different story! Trusting God in the middle of a blizzard storm doesn’t always feel good. Actually it doesn’t feel good at all but knowing I have a Father I can lean on and depend on and He never lets me down is truly MY story. Thank you Michelle for being so transparent.
