About this listen

In a town where the corrupt are protected, a bereaved mother seeks retribution for an arsonist’s deadly crimes. Only Nameless can help ease the burden of her grief - and satisfy her rage - in part four of this thrilling series.

After a suspicious house fire, Regina Belmont lost her two children, was left disfigured, and was abandoned by her gutless husband. Brokenhearted and bullied into silence by corrupt officials, Regina’s only recourse for truth and justice is Nameless. There’s something about this case that’s breaking Nameless’s heart as well. But can he bear to remember why?

From number one New York Times best-selling author Dean Koontz comes Red Rain, part of Nameless, a riveting collection of short stories about a vigilante nomad, stripped of his memories and commissioned to kill. Follow him in each story, which can be listened to in a single sitting.

Red rain

The narrator did a good job with this series. The characters are getting more and more interesting in each book.

Great book but not as great as the others

Of the nameless series this one has been my least favorite story line but still a good book. I really enjoy the narrator for these books.

Insightful shorts great narration

Very much enjoy this series of short stories. Nameless and the “posse” are very relatable to me personally in many ways ... also love the deep insightful thinking and the progress of those thoughts at the end of each story !! Ballerini does an excellent job with narration.. made me smile a few times at his personal character voices throughout the series !! Hope to see Koontz do more shorts for Prime !! Much appreciated and enjoyed !!

Nameless = Hero

Nameless does it again. He is, like always, the protector, hero, and a man with eeason.

I love Nameless!! I'm gonna be sad when I've read all of them. Then I'll read all of Dean Koontz's other books

Highly recommend

Great series. Some of the best short stories I have listened to. Retributive justice mixed with a touch of humor and growing mystery about Nameless and who he really is. They are short stories but cheap enough, get them, you won't regret it.

Evil begets evil

Then evil does its self in!

Amazing story of a "just desserts" circular firing squad that ends up leaving the reading thinking
"WOW!!!"

thrilling short story

this is another chapter from the Dean Koontz "nameless" series of short stories. it's a saga of a man with no memory of his past life enacting rough justice for a faceless organization.

My First Dean Koontz

The story was good. I found the voice acting to be a bit cliche and stereotypical. Literally every character with any kind of ethnic agency had some sort of identifiable “twang” or colloquial trademark about it. It was like listening to an old radio show from the 1940’s in spots. Odd.

Amazing Series

Love this series, I can't wait to see if Nameless learns anything about his past, yet at the same time hope he doesn't. Some things are just better in your imagination than when an Author tells you, okay that is actually a rare occurrence. The main storyline grips you, the Narrator carries you along at a decent pace keeping you fully invested in the story and events as the occur. While I'm glad I'm reaching the end of the season, I'm even more happy to learn the next season is already out and giving me something else to look forward to. Highly Recommended.
