Ok I will admit that I judged this book by it's cover... but come on it's hot!!! I think because of the cover and the authors other work I may have been expecting something a lot hotter than this sweet love story. This read like a traditional sweet romance, boy meets boy, boy likes boy and ask boy out, boys date, boys have sex and boys fall in love... And that is completely perfect but just not what I was expecting. I love these characters, I loved how different they were and I loved their love story, that being said I could have done without the odd childhood drama that felt like an excuse add to the book to give it excitement. I would have been happier with just a love story.

The narrator was new to me and he sounded a little stuffy and professional instead of a laid back tatted outdoors loving guy. He did a good job I just wish he sounded more like he was just taking in his everyday comfortable conversation voice.

Amazing how people let past experiences control them

True life past experiences can often make people choose unhealthy life choices in their future.

Good storyline

I liked the story and the characters. The narration was good in that I could differentiate the characters. I was disappointed to find that whispersync is falsely offered as the kindle editions are unavailable for any books by this author. This should be removed from the description.

The Narration was a no go

The narration was very flat, especially for a story with plenty of jokes and one liners! Honestly the story is good, but the narration made me cringe!

I READ THIS BOOK A WHILE BACK BUT I LOVE AUDIO AND THIS ONE WAS GOOD I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE TO COME OUT

Opposites Do Attract

This was book 1 in the "Pier 70" series. Cam Strickland is one of the four owners of Pier 70 Marina he has good and his families support. Gannon Burgess, CEO of Burgess Entertainment, one of the top video game producers in the world, when his assistant and friend Milly suggest that he takes his office out on an outing a boat on the Marina its the last place he wants to be he doesn't like the water. Cam is a hot sexy tattooed bad boy and Gannon is a hot sexy nerdy guy sparks fly when these two meet. These two begin hanging out and spending time together neither one of them are looking for a one night stand they want to take it slow and they do. I liked the friends in this book although I felt that Roan was wrong for what he did. These two begin getting hot and heavy and it was hot. Both of these characters have been hurt in the past. Cam his mother died while on a business trip and Gannon when his parents kicked him out as a teenager for being gay. This was a really good read by one of my favorite authors. I listened and read this book. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling U loved the narrators voice. I am looking forward to reading and listening to the next book in this series.

Ok but

Too much sex, not enough relationship to build a life on, not enough story/plot.

Wrong narrator

This was the wrong narrator for this book. The dialogue was flat, but once I got to a sex scene, I just couldn’t do it anymore. I’ve read this book, and I love it, but DNF the audio version. Returned.

It was a DNF and return :/ and I hate doing that

I tried to give it the old college try but I just felt zero connection, zero chemistry. Maybe if I’d held out longer it would have worked for me but it just kept putting me to sleep.

Why?

So I don’t know why, but Rich Miller, is by far the worst voice narrators I’ve heard. As someone who loves listening to these sexy erotica type books this one I couldn’t stomach and wasn’t from lack of trying. I made it to chapter nine before I called it quits bought the kindle version of this book to finished it. The story itself is great right up my ally of sexy gay heartthrobs. It’s shame that the narrator was dull and boring.
