inspiring story well told

I listened to this in 1 sitting. This is a story of perseverance, faith, loss and hope. This is a story much more about life than football. I know much has happened since this book was written but that is irrelevant. Character matters and coach is a fine example of someone who can succeed at the highest level without compromising.

Inspirational and Uplifting

I’ve always admired Coach Dungy for his on and off the field leadership. As a parent and member of his All Pro Dads organization, this book allows for an insight into what drives him off the field. Being a man of God, a steward to preach Gods word through football, and develop young men for greater things. I feel motivated after listening to this book and moved to become a better friend, Dad, and Husband.

I really enjoyed this book as Colts fan. I believe even if you are not a colts fan you could still find encouragement from this book.

Tony Dungy brings history to life as he tells of his experiences in every aspect of his life. Open and vulnerable through every victory and even great loss, Tony reminds us to look up and lean into God for guidance, direction, peace and quiet strength. He is a great example of how even men with great accomplishments in this world can maintain their salvation and faith by putting God, good character and family first.
