While outright mimicry is obviously out of the question, you can certainly seek to mirror the communication styles of the people you're engaging with, in order to help you establish rapport and common ground. Suppose someone looks at you for just a couple of seconds before looking down, or goes past you and then looks back at you. This nonverbal style tells you something important about the person you're engaging - sustained eye contact is undesirable.

To get this to work the manipulator will need to go for a specific reaction. This book is extraordinary at making somebody mindful of both themselves and their surroundings

While the book was great, a random section talked about cyber security unrelatedly. All and all good book.

Interesting audible
This audible explains to you what the art of psychological warfare is. Some people have been a victim to the brainwashing and mental abuse of psychologically insulting manipulators. Unfortunately, most sufferers don't recognize these signs until it is too late.

Brilliant, detailed
This book describes to you what the art of psychological warfare is. How to spot it when being used against you and how to use it against others. Pretty honest.
