Fantastic!

New authors are so much fun to get to know, and SM West is new to me. This book has it all. It pushes all the buttons and I could not stop listening! Paige is being stalked by her landlord. In need of a lawyer, her brother calls in a favor, and is put in touch with real estate mogul, Zach. Zach needs access to his trust fund, but stipulations keep changing, and now he needs a wife. The deal is made. His help for hers and the romance begins. This couple has it all. And what I really love, over and above their chemistry is the way they talk. It's not just about sex, or their reason for the deal. They talk. And it's refreshing! The added element of the crazy landlord just pumps up the creepy suspense, and I am a lover of it. It's got it all! And now I am going to go look for more from SM West!

Not only is the story good, but the narration team of Ava Erickson and Tor Thom just enhanced it for me. Erickson has such a great voice and she dials into Paige finding all the nuances of her personality. Thom finds that alpha male essence and adds that to the strong, compassionate disposition of Zach and brings him to life. It's a phenomenal listen!

Heartwarming and suspenseful

S. M. West did a wonderful job with the fake relationship between Paige and Zach! Their relationship demonstrated the toll it took and the anxiety caused to maintain the ruse of a real relationship. Paige was strong-willed, intelligent, compassionate and loving! Zach was protective, generous and slightly manipulative. Although different, both complemented each other and fell in love without wanting to reveal their feelings for fear of rejection. Their story also highlighted the injustices of proving a victim being stalked. The storyline was heartwarming, suspenseful and thought provoking! Ava Erickson and Tor Thom’s performances were stellar! They made me feel a wide range of emotions and really enhanced my listening experience!

"You've Got Exactly What I'm Craving"

4.5 stars - I enjoyed this addition to the series. The reason that Paige needs to reach out for help, landing in Zach's path, is scary for any single woman living on her own. The landlord has crossed the line, repeatedly, escalating with each event.

The fact that Zach has a responding proposal to Paige's request for assistance sets these two on a course for trouble. Thankfully, the good events outweigh the bad as they pummel through their lines drawn in the sand. I love that the quickly formed bond throws them for a loop and each staggers to find footing as they realize that what's happening isn't as fake as they planned.

I won't ruin it but I LOVE the second part of the epilogue. In a word, perfect. The conclusion is very appropriate. ❤🔥❤

I listened to an author copy of the audio book. I loved Ava Erickson and Tor Thom as the narrators. Tor has such a rich voice.... Mmm.... 😍

Excellent fake romance

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. S. M. West has written a captivating, heartwarming, as well as heart-wrenching, story about a fake relationship. I fell in love with these characters from the start. As the characters are developed you will realize that they are caring and loving and doing what they think is best for the company as well as each other and their families and friends. Zach becomes very protective of Paige and it's heartwarming to see his love grow for her. Paige inwardly battles with the terms of the contract and her growing love for Zach. I love the banter between these two. Add in a stalker and the story gets more complicated.

Tor Thom and Ava Erickson are perfect narrators for this story. They capture the essence of these characters and vividly portray their emotions and personalities. It is so easy the picture the scenes in your mind.

I highly recommend this Audible book. It is one that I will definitely listen to again. This story will put a smile on your face.

Real Liars

The title caught my attention. I really enjoyed this book. If there was a part 2, I would definitely jump right in

Enjoyable

This book killed me.....I cried, I laughed, I chuckled, I cried so more and then I fell in love with Real Liars. S.M. West has a way of pulling you into her books, making you live the characters life, feel like they feel and then want to make you turn back to listen to it once it's all over! I loved every single moment!! Can not wait to see what this author throws at us next, please done make us wait too long..... please!

Hooked from the first chapter

Paige needs a lawyer and her brother calls in a favor. Zach needs his trust fund and the only way to gain access is to have a date. Paige is desperate to have help escaping her stalking landlord and strikes a deal. Their romance is not conventional, but it is certainly addicting. I could not wait to hear more of their banter and fun. Their chemistry is so obvious to the reader, yet they are oblivious to it, or struggling to fight it. The push and pull and internal struggles they dealt with, had me hooked and I could not stop until the end. I look forward to more stories from S.M. West!

Ava Erickson and Tor Thom brought this story to life. It was through their narration that I immersed my mind into the story and I could not escape until the end. Ava really understood Paige's character and it showed through her performance. Tor Thom has the best alpha voice and he definitely was the perfect Zach. Ava and Tor narrate so well together. They compliment each other. Their performance enhanced the experience of this story.

a tangled web...

It started off as an arrangement...a fake relationship. Paige has a poor history with men, her latest disaster is the reason she’s been forced to rent a rundown house with a creeper landlord. When the landlord starts stalking her, Paige’s brother sends her to real estate mogul, Zach Rothwell, for help. Zach seizes the opportunity to form a fake relationship with Paige to gain access to his trust fund. As the duo spend time together and become immersed in the relationship, the lines are blurred...is it still fake? I enjoy a good fake relationship to more story and this one did not disappoint! Throw in a ‘scorned’ ex and a playboy and you have a book that’s ‘unputdownable’. The narration team makes these characters stand out and force you to take notice. Highly recommend this book.

A favorite trope!!

SM West gives me one of my favorite tropes… fake relationships. I don’t know why I love them so much, perhaps because they are just so outlandish it’s fun to see how an author makes it work. This was also my fist book by SM West. I found it to be super sweet, totally unputdownable with a HEA that made me smile wistfully… totally adorbs!

The narrators were Ava Erickson and Tor Thom and they are two of my favorites! Zach is a business man but he has heart and a sense of humor. Thom brings him to life before my ears. I loved his narration. Now Erickson, I swear, she couldn’t narrate badly if she purposefully tried… no joke, it just isn’t possible. These two sound just amazing together and really gave this story a pulse. Loved it!
