Love and Betrayal

If you are considering reading this book, let me just warn you that it's kind of a slow start. The first few chapters lead with some really heavy drama but then you are left watching the remaining pieces come together in a slow SLOW series of exchanges. But after that, it's smooth sailing. The characters are unique, engaging, and you will learn to love them. The ending was totally not expected from me and I think its the main reason you should read it. A great start to the series. Give it a shot. Magic, Kingdoms, Royalty, and Fighting. And of course, Love and Betrayal.

Great LGBT+ fantasy

One of the best LGBT+ fantasy novels I've read so far. Engaging characters, an exciting, engaging story, and a pretty good romance to top it of. If you like bisexual/lesbian fantasy-romance, give this one a chance!

Wonderfull story and performance

I normally don’t review books, mostly bc of my languagebarier, but this book deserves the praise that I have for it.
The story overall is wonderfully put out! With lovely world building, dimensional characters, both villains and heroes.
It’s your typical fantasy novel, but it’s one of them good ones you could read thousands of without ever getting tired. And while it might be typical, for a queer reader as myself, it’s not so typical to read a book whereas I can relate to a protagonist so well as I did of this story!

The characters are well formed, flawed and the dialog between the characters has a nice flow. Nothing seems to pushed or overly dramatic.

The performance throughout the whole book is outstanding, never ones did I find the reading either annoying or weird. I found that really impressive with a speaker making as many different voices throughout the story as she did.

Do purchase this! You won’t regret it.

I will be looking forward to the next book in this series!

To be honest i was skeptical about listening to this book because I'm really a really picky reader. I have no qualms about this book. It is simply a truly great book.

Great epic fantasy, looking forward to book 2!

This is an amazing book in itself, but I'm very excited for the next book in the series. Performance is great. Not as good as some, but definitely one of the better.

Worth the Credit.

Solid story with a game of throwns kinda of story outline. You know a danger just outside the kingdom no one believes in. While backstabbing royal treachery rages on the home front and everyone but a select few are oblivious to the oncoming peril. Ya add a rebellious Bi princes and a treacherous lover or 2 and your in for a nice tail with a bit of fantasy mystery and some heat here and there as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the audio performance.

Excellent Story!

This was everything I have been waiting for, a well written high fantasy with queer women. The plot was wonderful and engaging without being focus on “lgbtq” issues or driven by the romance only. If you’re looking for a good read with a good plot this is for you.

So Happy This Book Exists!!

I have been looking for a book like this for so long! There are many great queer stories that are "coming of age" or coming out stories, but there is a huge gap in queer fiction and fantasy, and this book was everything I wanted! The story was great and with well developed characters you fall in love with and a surprising plot at each turn. I listened to this book non-stop, and the narration was great as well! Very excited to read the sequel :)
