It’s Entertaining.

The slight robot voice doesn’t take too much away from it, but it has moments of annoyance. The story line is awkward. At times it feels like the author got bored with a way the story was going so ended it quickly to move on. There isn’t much “love” to it, but is voiced as if there is love…. Missing a lot of key parts, but still an interesting enough story that I finished it, but could have been better.

I totally dislike the virtual voice. There is no male/female tones. It sounds tinny. This is why the performance is off. The story had potential though MIA was spoiled in behavior.

The story was quite interesting, and honestly, I kept waiting for more bad guys to show up. But, while there is action and some suspense, the story is more about the developing bond between the characters and the progression of their relationships. Definitely worth a listen.

While she's a bit... whiny, but when you think about it, many of us would have reacted similarly at that age in her position. If you've had a normal life, independent, taking care of yourself, sheltered, and thrown into a situation where you no longer have control and are being bossed around would be very upsetting. Honestly, I think a lot of us would have done a lot more crying with all the ups and downs during their adventure - especially when you realize months passed by during the story's length.
I personally preferred Lucas, and wish there had been more scenes with him, as well as with the other guys who all seemed to slip into the background once they'd 'had their turn' and she was traded off to the next one.

I dont know what to think about this book. i enjoyed the preface but didn't like the execution. Mia is supposed to be this mafia princess but she really has no back bone or genuine thought in her head. every time she does she is shot down by one of her guards.

I'm all for an Alpha male but this is not Alpha Male this is controlling male with a side of women are possession's. they tell her what to wear, what to eat, where to sit, tell her she cant be mad at her father for up ending her whole life, gets yelled at for kissing some one is public and has to be "put in her place", scolds her for cussing but that is a double standard because they do, gets mad at her for staying out all night when she has LITERALY no control over anything. Lucas kept her out all night. what was she supposed to do argue with him. IM SORRY she cant even argue about what she wants to wear or eat. do you think he would have listened if she said we should head back. NO no he would not have because Mia is not aloud to have a single original thought in her head with out her getting scolded

As for the audio quality. i usually do not mind the robotic nature of AI read stuff. i can always just tune out the issues, its always lacking because its not a human voice and they cant tell nuances but this was one of the worst i have heard.

Decent book

Do not really like virtual voice I prefer a real person with real emotions & feelings.

I hate the AI narrator.

It mispronounces words and sounds robotic and ruins the story. It might have been a good story but I couldn’t listen to it

It made me think the author was in a hurry to get the story done and rushed the whole thing and the ending was by far the worst. Just so abrupt.

Lousy reading. computer can't do emotions and can't choose correct words. ex live short I or long I. it makes a difference.

This was a shallow story line made worse by the virtual narration. There was very little build up and no sense of intimacy to the sex scenes. If I was looking for nothing but sex ,I'd simply watch porn. I only finished the story hoping for something compelling. This was sadly disappointing. Thank God I didn't have to waste a credit on this story.
