Nick has no direction in his life, as his mother often reminds him. He works paycheck to paycheck, which becomes a problem when the paychecks stop coming in. So sweet!
This is a wonderful story with a darling romance and a great plot. I really enjoyed the characters and imagery. The descriptions of the war have stuck with me even days after finishing. The two separate narrators really help to define the two POVs, enriching the experience even further. Definitely worth your time!
