Fantastic Narration!

Shannon Mayer is an incredible author. Last year, I read over 40 of her books. I was so excited to dive into this huge interconnected world!! She writes these amazing fast-paced action packed stories, and listening to Priceless did not disappoint. Rylee is a fierce FMC with a troubled traumatic past who has the powers to find missing kids. She has a band of misfits as a found family that I can’t wait to learn more about. The narration was impressive and kept me on my toes the entire time. I’m hooked on the Rylee Adamson world and excited to keep reading!

decided to do a re-read of this series and listen to the audiobooks. I am so happy that I did. It was like coming back home, I had forgotten how much I love Rylee and love Alex and want to take him home.
This story just pulls you in, and won't let you go

Rylee

Rylee is a tracker, someone who helps find and locate missing children. She is witty, tough, foul mouthed, and feisty. Her best friend is a witch and she has a werewolf as a pet.

This book is packed with action and constantly introducing you into new characters. Each one is vividly described so you can just imagine who they are

She ends up paired with FBI Agent O’Shae who was trying to pin the disappearance of her sister. The two must now work together to find a missing child. They get thrown through the wringer throughout the entire story.

The narrator did a great job bringing this book and the character to life.

Action packed and addicting!!

Rylee is a tracker and she’ll do whatever it takes to find missing children. But she’s no ordinary human. She’s talented, highly skilled, and more than capable of taking down the baddies.
I couldn’t help but root for her and Liam. Oh heavens!!! This story is packed with action and I cannot wait to see what happens next. Along the way we meet some incredible characters like Dox, Eve, Millie, and Alex. I absolutely love Alex!
The narrator, Lauren Fortgang does an amazing job bringing Rylee and the rest of the characters to life. Her tones and inflections are spot on, making this world feel so real. How I wish it was real!
This series is perfect for lovers of adult urban fantasy with a side of romance, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, banter, feisty female MC, and found family. If you’re looking for your next great series to read look no further and check out this series!

Great world building and twists on paranormal

This author has a way of intermingling other series, so there is crossover which I love. I actually started out with this author on a different series and found some of those characters in this novel as well. What a great surprise. This is a good start to the series. I love the concept of the main character and who she is and what she does for a living. I don’t wanna give away spoilers, but it’s a great twist on a paranormal idea with lots of really interesting characters and creatures. Very well written, and solid world and character development. I enjoyed following each person on their journey so even the side characters will grab your attention. Can’t wait to get into the next book. The narrator is awesome and one of my favorites because we all know with Audible the narrator can make or break even the best books. 📚

Never a dull moment

Priceless is the 1st book in the Rylee Adamson series and I enjoyed it. The story took us on quite an adventure with its strong unique heroine Rylee, who tracks down kidnapped kids whether here or beyond the Veil, and brings them home, alive or dead.

She was supported by a cast of quirky characters who all added to the story in one way or another. The story was fast paced and action-packed and held my interest until the end as there was never a dull moment. It also had me laughing out loud at times with the antics of the characters. I really enjoyed this novel and can't wait to start book two. I would definitely recommend this novel to lovers of urban fantasy romance.

The audiobook was narrated by Lauren Fortgang. She did a marvelous job giving the characters their own voice and personality. Her voice was clear and understandable and it was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.
