Loved the book, kept me on my toes. The story was great, not you’re typical love story.

Great story of enemies to lovers

watching the struggles between two kids as they fall in love at first sight and watching them destroy each other to protect others the ultimite enimies to lover captures in this story.

This is a well written story! I love the way that the author brings thd reader into the story and makes them feel the words. Everything is going right along with the Sinners of Saints, and I love it. The storyline gets better and better. I love this author and now realize that I am going to have to read all of the books.

Get ready for intense

This story deals with some very real emotions and intense family situations as well as intense live. Not usually into a book on terms but these situations had me going.

The BOMB

First off I love ALL the LJ Shen books Sinners into Saints Series. Scandalous is my FAVORITE one, so this was awesome to read the junnie’s of All Saints High all grown up and doing their version stupid. Now I need a Lula and Knight story because I know there needs to be one.

BRAVO!!! L.J. Shen has outdone her self, and that is saying something as she has managed to write consistently solid, complex and yet engaging stories back to back for the past few years. I am a huge fan of the original Sinners of Saint books and the anticipation and expectation coming into this story was huge and it did not disappoint. How she manages to write characters with so much depth, truth, complexity and humanity is beyond me!! She is able to give the reader/ listener a very unique and twisty experience and yet make it feel organic, effortless and emotional on every level of the heartache scale. The way in which she weaves the high stakes, the drama and the pace of the action is stellar. The narration is even more on point!! Kudos to the cast and how they were able to portray all of these emotions and chanel the words in such an engaging way. Angela Goethals simply SLAYS this performance and this being my first audio with Michael Crouch narrating I felt he was a perfect choice for Penn Scully. He delivered in every way and he has a new fan. Needless to say Maxine Mitchell obliterates and came in with guns blazing in the chapter she narrates as Melody. I was holding my breath that whole chapter I was so enthralled!! Simply put this is a top audio for me this year. A must listen well worth the ride!

She did it again!

I absolutely love LJ Shen and her writing style. I have been waiting for this series and she did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this story. It was so sweet yet not not juvenile despite being about teenagers. I can not wait for the next book in the series!

Fucked up, but real

I'm usually not a fan of anything that isn't Fantasy, because romance novels always have a tendency to be unrealistic and cliche for no reason. But I got audible escape and there weren't many options and this seemed somewhat promising, so I gave it a shot. I gave it five stars, and while it wasn't enough to convert me to a romance genre lover, the story was fantastic. Starting off, it put me in all the wrong moods, because fuck, what the hell is the main character doing? But I pushed through it, and halfway through, it hooked me. I questioned the sanity and sense of most of the characters but when don't we all? And in the end, it was real. Fucked up, but real. And maybe the next person will hate it, but this story gets a thumbs up from me. From the fantasy lover.

get a box of tissue, you will certainly need them! you will laugh and you will cry, if not out right sob!!
