her true crime books are better

Anne Rule was a fantastic true crime writer. i guess she gave up writing novels after Possession, & that's ok. i was curious to read this novel so i did. To Anne Rule fans out there , it's OK to skip this one.

Suspenseful and entertaining

I enjoyed the audio version of Possession by Ann Rule. I thought the writing was really good, authentic in the characterizations and descriptions, and the story flowed nicely. I was captivated from the first chapter through the very end. I would highly recommend this audiobook. Definitely worth your credit!

Originality of story

I enjoyed the readers voice very much. To me, the plot was original. Descriptions of characters allowed easy recollection of who was who in dialog. Flow of character interaction and story-line was just right. The ending was not surprising but appropriate for this telling.

Crime drama

It was a bit slow in the beginning. About a third of the way in it became interesting. Worth a listen.

Narrator

Brian Stivale is the best narrator I have heard thus far. I really enjoyed this book.

Truth is stranger than fiction

The plot twists and turns so many times, you’ll never guess what’s around each corner.
Perhaps one of the best Ann Rule books ever—and she is the queen of true crime. I loved the narrator as well.

good story- kept me listening, great description of places and people, good narration, but overly sexually graphic.

Fantastic novel by renown True Crime Author Ann Rule. I bought by accident, bc I’ve been only listening to true crime and thought this was another Ann rule crime book. I’m not sorry I listened to Possession. I really enjoyed it. Very enthralling. To the very end. It’s not what I expected. Loved this one. Great narrator.

well written, a definite page turner

I had been waiting for this book of Ann's to become available on Audible. Ann is one of my favorite authors and she did not disappoint with this novel. interesting that this one is loosely based on a true crime that occurred in the late 70s too. I enjoyed this narrator as well as he really drew me deeper into the story.

Great storyline

Ann Rule did a great job with her first fiction novel. I will recommend this.
