In Poachers Were My Prey, listeners look over R. T. Stewart's shoulder as he deals with the temptations offered an undercover officer, including money, sex, and drugs, and watch as he gets the job done and brings the poachers to justice.

In his honest storytelling style, Stewart also recounts some of the more humorous episodes of undercover work, as when, early in his career, he was so nervous around a group of poachers that he inadvertently put a lit cigar in his mouth backwards.

Very good read/listen

I enjoyed this book, the stories were enticing and titillating. You were able to put yourself right into them and picture them.

Very interesting and entertaining

I heard about R.T. on the Bear Grease Podcast. I thought the book was very entertaining and interesting to see behind the scenes how an undercover officer worked. If you enjoy the outdoors and/or hunting-this book would be a good one to get.

If you love hunting, fishing, wildlife, or the outdoors then I think that you will enjoy this audiobook. The stories were captivating and very interesting.

Amazing!!!!!! RT = real turkey (inside joke) is amazing and this story is astonishing and impactful. Crazy that he lived to tell this tail. Great interview in the bear grease podcast was where I first learned of RT and this book. Worth a listen! He sacrificed a lot so we can hunt! Thanks brother!

A great story and excellent reading. really enjoyed this title and got me to listen to several other books in this genre

More entiertaining than i thought it would be.

Great read/listen, inspirational to young sportsmen/women and a great message to the general public. Big thanks to the men and women that give up there personal freedoms to fight for the rights of the outdoors. Interesting the whole way through listen to the whole thing in one sitting.

Great book

Please get the actual authors to narrate. I heard RT on the bear grease podcast and it was hard to listen to the guy's voice who they got to narrate it.

Great book, lacking narrator

I really enjoy the book, it’s stories, and theme, but the narrator fell short. At times I felt as if a computer was reading the book.
