Audio narrators🎧: Samantha Brentmoor and Jacob Morgan. Two of my favorites!! They KILLED this performance. They really brought the characters to life and conveyed their emotions so well. I couldn’t stop listening!

• Summary:
Professional baseball player Isaiah Rhodes has always had an unrequited crush on their team athletic trainer, Kennedy. After three years of pining, and the end of her previous engagement, Isaiah finds himself drunk in Vegas with Kennedy, and a wedding ring on his finger. Through what feels like an accidental miracle, Isaiah’s dream girl drunkenly begged him to marry her. Now he just needs to figure out how to keep her.

• My thoughts:
I was convinced nothing could come close to my love for Caught Up, and yet here I am LOVING THIS BOOK! Isaiah is a golden retriever mmc, always putting on a happy face to make everyone smile, while deep down struggling with his own hidden anxiety and desire to appease others. Meanwhile, Kennedy has an icy exterior she uses as a defense mechanism, while truthfully she wants to be loved and accepted. I loved how Isaiah and Kennedy were both hiding their genuine emotions in front of others, but always felt safe enough to be honest with one another from the very beginning. And Isaiah - that perfect man. Such a SIMP for his woman, and I loved it. He is sweet, funny, charismatic, understanding, willing to do anything for his woman, and bossy when it counts. WELL DONE, LIZ.👏🏼 The Rhodes men have solidified their place in the book boyfriend HOF.🏆

Liz Tomforde is hands down my favorite author. The world building, the character development, it's all so beautiful!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️ I’m definitely on the Rhodes brothers bandwagon. Caught Up is still my favorite but this one is a close second. Kai &Isaiah are my absolute favorites!

* I loved both Kennedy &Isaiah! Kennedy was a strong woman wanting to take care of her own business. Not wanting Isaiah to fight her battles for her but supporting her nonetheless. Isaiah was a lovable golden retriever. He played the long game &succeeded.

* The narration was fantastic!! Jacob Morgan &Samantha Brentmoor crushed it! They truly brought the story to life. A minor thing but I didn’t like that the book was narrated as dual narration except when it came to the text messages. Then it was duet. I just wish they did the whole book duet then.

* The mental health representation was done very well in the story. It showed how grief &anxiety can take a toll on your health. It showed healthy coping mechanisms for those things as well.

* Some of my most favorite moments were the “I live, laugh, love you.” And every time Isaiah called her Kenny 🫠. I’m excited to read Rio’s story but kinda sad Coach Monty &Reese don’t get their own story in this series.

Audio is fantastic really brought Kennedy’s and Isaiah to life. Great story great book loved every second of this story! Finished in less than 24 hrs captivating thank you for bringing this book to life

Seriously love this “series”
They were perfectly spicy and good stories, I really liked them, they have left me wanting more. I liked the little twist in this one, albeit a bit predictable, I am not mad about. Good book!

Great story with wonderful narration. it dealt with some really interesting subjects that made me cry for the MCs and their struggles to overcome. Beautiful story 😍

The best author for love and cute humor

This book will be added to one of my favorites. This is one of my favorite series. I rarely reread a book and I’ve reread 2 books in this series. Easy read very enjoyable.

Unmatched Chemistry and Unforgettable Characters

*Play Along* is hands-down the best book so far in the Windy City series, and that's saying a lot because I've loved every single book even more than the last! Isaiah and Kennedy are a delight to watch as they navigate their accidental marriage of convenience (literally!).

The character development is fantastic. Isaiah, the golden retriever-like, fake husband who is publicly obsessed with his wife and privately a dom-my, dirty lover, is also her biggest cheerleader. I love how Kennedy is career-focused and successful, yet completely able to submit to Isaiah’s needs behind closed doors.

The story is funny, romantic, and even though it follows a similar formula to the other books, the characters leap off the page and out of the book itself. I have the biggest book hangover from finishing this one! *Play Along* is a 10 out of 10, hands-down my favorite read of the year. Liz Tomforde can do no wrong—definitely check this one out!
