About this listen

Katherine Fairfield isn’t a typical woman—or a typical witch. Once upon a time, she worked as an agent for Hex Support, a secret division within the Federal Bureau of Magic. Following the tragic death of her husband, she quit to focus on raising their twins. Now the kids are in college, and Kit spends her days at the enchanted family estate known as Dark Hollow along with her two younger sisters and a sanctuary of forgotten familiars. But then duty calls.

Kit has no interest in returning to her previous life, but her former boss makes her an offer she can’t refuse. A prominent supernatural socialite has been murdered in Savannah, and Hex Support could really use the talents of a Fairfield witch to crack the case. Begrudgingly, Kit dusts off her badge and heads to Savannah, where she meets the suspects—as well as a mysterious vampire known only as Palmer, who seems to know far more than he should.

As Kit closes in on the killer, she’s forced to call upon magical skills she’s long ignored and face the reality of her new life. Will she retreat into the dark recesses of her sanctuary and let a killer go free, or will the Green Witch rise to the challenge and remind the supernatural world who’s boss?

Annabel Chase and Tana Grey have written a great book/audiobook filled with interesting characters and a storyline that is not only original but also intriguing.
Carly Robins gave an outstanding performance as she breathed life into the storyline and giving each character their own distinct voice.
I look forward to the next in series.

I really liked this book. I got the first book with the membership, but the rest of the trilogy requires a credit. I like the story and characters so much that I did purchase them two remaining books with credits.

It was also a nice spin on a witch tale. I look forward to the next adventure.

A really pleasant surprise!

This is my first book by Annabel Chase or Tana Grey and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it.
I picked up Pink Moon by chance when it was on sale and I'm glad I did.

It's nice to see a strong, confident FMC who doesn't go weak kneed at the appearance of the roguish MMC.
Although there is some playful banter, all interactions are totally PG. There's nothing you'll need to fast forward though if you usually skip those racey parts.

Narration was fantastic 👏
I own over 500 Audio books and I think this may be my first one narrated by Carly Robins but I'm going to be sure to seek out more treasures from Carly in the future.

Overall, I'll likely go on to the next 2 books in the series to see how things turned out for the sisters and the Vampire.
It's an interesting premise and fresh take on witches, magic and the paranormal and I think I want to see where this road goes.

Unique Spin on Witch Mystery

It took a while for me to get into this story a little bit boring in the beginning but toward middle of book i began to like it. In the end, I’m looking forward to the next installment

I love the book itself. I look forward to reading the other books so that I can see what happens in the household. it's well written, entertaining and doesn't seem to have a lull in it, which is always nice. I look forward to reading the other two books that are available in the set

Who doesn't love a mystery & Witches?

This book stands on its own but it also sets up for follow up episodes. Kept me interested to finish it in one day. I am looking for the next one.

Fun book to peek your interest.

I like Annabelle Chase, so I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. I think, if it had been longer, I would’ve gotten bored but at the end, I was smiling.
It’s not a cute, cozy witch story. I don’t like cute witch stories, too stupid. No sex but at times sexy.
It was just a very entertaining, pleasant, enjoyable listen.
I’ve listened to Carly Robbins before and she does a decent job of reading, she has a pleasant voice, good cadence and flow. You do know when a different character is speaking most of the time.
I enjoyed this so much, I am on to the next in the series!

It was a fun listen!

Quite enjoyed this book, Nice easy listen. And I can’t wait to continue the series to see what the witches all get up to as their world changes!
The book could’ve been longer, some areas seemed a little short and could’ve been fleshed out more but overall I liked it.

Quite enjoyed this book, can’t wait to….

I have found most books with witches lately have them solving some mystery that involves them being either incredibly naïve or the storyline is just too simple. This one however was neither. I loved how the author made the main character a great agent but also a caring mother and sister and addressed that fact that women are often made to choose one or the other. She brought in a sense of romance with out it being too much.

A great listen and storyline
