The European Portuguese Language
Portuguese is the mother tongue of about 170 million people, mainly in Portugal and the Portuguese islands in the Atlantic, Brazil, and Portugal's former overseas provinces in Africa and Asia. Pimsleur's European Portuguese teaches the Lisbon dialect of Portuguese.

An easy improvement would help a lot.
This book would be much improved if the dialect was written as well as oral. Sometimes I just couldn't tell what they were saying, even when slowed down to half speed. The method is good.
