Good

It was a good book. I'm really interested in finding out what happens in book 2. I love the sound of Teddy Hamilton's voice but Elizabeth Hart's not so much

The humidity

the story was good from the beginning. The narration was great. I really did not like the cliffhanger but it's right there in the "Duet" part of the description so I can't really be mad about it.

Atleast th Duet's done b/c th Cliffhanger's brutal

TM Frazier, you are an evil woman! What a cliffhanger you left us in! I heard about there being a crazy cliffhanger and decided I wouldn't listen to Pike until Pawn came available on Audible as well so I could go straight into Pawn with no delay. I had to wait so many months just to listen to this Duet as a whole but it hasn't disappointed! The King Series is still one of my all time favorite series and I am so happy to be reading more of it.

Excellent story

This book pulled me in from the very beginning. There is suspense, intrigue, surprises, and new love. The characters are great as well as the narration. In two Pawn, the next book in the series.

storyline

could have been better w a different female narrator.. the ending was very good so I'll have to cringe through Pawn.

Nothing less than 5 stars

Every book that I have listened to of T.M. Frazier has been riveting, full of action, suspense and with Preppy included in the storyline laughs. This was a great spinoff to the King Series. Looking forward to the next in this series. Narration was awesome, as usually Teddy Hamilton delivers as well as Elizabeth Hart.

ok, let me start out by saying it started a little slow for me. That being said, I cannot wait for the next one. I want it to come out ASAP.

Good Story

The beginning was slow and hard to get into, but after Mickey gets captured the story starts getting good and I found it hard to put down!!

This storyline was ok. I love Teddy’s narration and Elizabeth did a great job; however, not sure why but this story did not captivate my attention; still had about an 1.5 hours left to listen to for over 4 months. The remaining 1.5 hours was better than the rest of the book. Ends in a cliffhanger which really should be one book rather than 2.

Interesting story...

Kept me glued. Believe it or not, I took to this story better than King - I think it was the narrators. both were great. Alpha male, suspenseful & spicy. Looking forward to see how this ends.
