First I have to say I love when piper Stone lets loose and lets it all fly out the window when she writes the results are stunning,
the characters where interesting and the story line was great I couldn’t stop until I finished this wonderful stoy it was very entertaining and delicious .
ken did a wonderful job Narrating this beautiful story ❤.

i enjoyed the storyline but....

the narrator's Russian accent consisted of w's sounding like the letter v, and v's sounding like the letter w. It was very distracting to say the least to where I had to back up several times as I lost track of the storyline. his natural voice was great and I don't think he needed the affectation of the Russian accent. This is one of my favorite authors so I could not not finish the book as the story was enjoyable. I am certain I've enjoyed this narrator in other works but in this case it was mostly no for me.

Wild Ride!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. I am a fan of Piper Stone and this is a thrilling Mafia adventure. This book has everything you would want in a Mafia story. This story has suspense, kidnapping, intrigue, plenty of action, assassinations of villains, betrayals, lies, hot sex scenes and so much more. There are several twists and turns which will take you on a wild rollercoaster ride. This is a world where it's difficult to know whom you can trust. Kostya has had a tortured past but is now a strong dominant man who has been groomed to be an assassin. Giliana is a strong woman who needs to know the truth about her father. However, now she has lost control of her life. These two will change each other's lives. In the end Kostya must decide what direction he wants his life to take and what is most important to him.

Ken Solin does an excellent job of portraying the emotions of these characters and brings them to life. He gives the characters distinctive voices including Russian accents. He even pronounced the "v" with " w" as well as others. I must admit that I didn't like this. But this is strictly a personal preference and I didn't rate his performance lower for this.

I highly recommend this Audible book. Be ready to hold on to the edge of your seat!

WOW!!!

Love Mafia romance!!! and Piper Stone knows how to do it right! lots of twists and turns and up and down emotions!
I think this was my first book narrated by Ken Solin! He did a wonderful job bringing the story and characters to life!
I requested this free Audio book and am giving an honest review voluntarily!
If you like mafia romances, then this is for you!!!!!

It could have been.....

This story really needed 2POV storytelling! I almost stopped listening but needed to see how they get their HEA.

The narrator: smh

I couldn't get through the first hour, no matter how hard I tried.

The only accent I could discern were the v's being replaced with w's, sounding like a speech impediment.

The speech impediment made it difficult to focus on the story. Even if Piper Stone is an amazing writer, I couldn't form an opinion based on the audio.
