About this listen
Merciless gangs carve out their own kingdoms amid the shattered ruins of what had once been the most powerful country in the world, preying upon anyone unfortunate enough to cross their paths. Mindless flesh-eaters roam the beleaguered countryside - victims of a horribly malfunctioned high-tech cerebral implant called a Tekk Chip. And the desperate military remnant of an extinct country fights a final war where nuclear weapons are very much an option.
Ethan Graham is a loner, drifting through the New World on a daily quest of survival. But when he rescues Erica from a fate worse than death, for the first time he finds incentive to desire something better. That leads him to seek out a mythical oasis rumored to exist hidden in the Rocky Mountains. It is a potential safe haven. A veritable paradise. But PerfectTown has its deadly secrets as well...

Good story
I liked the storyline. It was a different "zombie" sory than I was used to, but I really liked it. It was believable in this day and age.
I didn't like the virtual voice. it never does the story any good.
