Great story
I’m enjoying the character development over this series. I’m still not terribly happy with the new narrator, I find that I have a bump up the playback speed to 1.1 in order to enjoy her reading style. Also the chapters are way off alignment! The don’t match up in any type of order!

The Best Plot Ever!
Some don't care for the detail that Anne Perry writes with, but I'm not one of them. For the true armchair sleuth, she let's us inside the head of Charotte and William Pitt, and even Eleanor, but we see the clues as they see them. This book in particular had so many twists and turns that even when you think you know who did it, you don't know enough until the end. What an amazing writer. The nuances of her characters both big and small make this a psychological mystery tour de force.

A book not to pass
BRAVO!
MAGNIFICENTE!
Of all the Anne Perry’s books this one is by far my favorite. It held my attention until the end. That is to say a lot considering I have been reading mystery books since

Great twists!
All these years later, her books are still a very fun read. I love learning about that time frame in England.
