Short and not very Lively

Is there anything you would change about this book?

This book needs to go into more detail. The narrator is monotone and difficult to really get into. This book is very short.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Bored and unfullfilled

How did the narrator detract from the book?

monotone

Informative

Gives a better understanding of what ppd is and outlining the various types of conditions. Alsogave some interesting ways for ppd patients to go about seeking and staying in treatment.

Not really helpful, but compact overview

I expected something more concrete about treatment based on the subtitle. Instead the book just tells you to get a shrink(but don’t expect much even after years of therapy), get essential oils and herbal pills, even straight up homeopathy is recommended. Or get your energy aura fixed by „oriental“ medicine.

It’s a good overview over the disorder itself, and what subtypes there are, also some good general advice.

Speaker and sound quality is good.

Easy to understand and to the point

It covers quite a bit of information in an easy to understand (though not super interesting) and brief format. No stories, few real life examples, but quite practical and informative. Feels like a good introduction to the topic, though now I want to find something more in depth.

Great Introduction to the Disease

I have a family member that suffers from PPD and it was a great refresher on the material. This is just an introduction and doesn't go too in depth on the disease. It did introduces some concepts on coping that we haven't tried and will try in the future. That alone was worth the cost of this book. If you're just trying to gather information for a family member or a friend this is a great primer.

Good information but monotonous narrator

The information presented in this book is important especially for those who have ppd. The narrator is a monotone. Bottom line: if you or someone has signs of this disorder, get as much help as possible.
