Wish I read this sooner

I have studied personality traits in my personal and professional life for many years and I am so happy to have finally found this book. I have found this book to be so helpful in understanding my own and others' patterns so much quicker thanks to this book. This means I can be more flexible when I am communicating with them. I am also more willing to share my emotions and needs based on my pattern. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to understand themselves better and start to make big changes in their relationships. Make sure to speed up the playback speed to about 1.25 to improve the narration experience. I also recommend the physical book if you can get a copy, so great to listen and then go back to refer to the book for deeper study.

Easy to understand

As a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing I am familiar with the patterns. From this book I feel I got an even better understanding and personal connection with the material.

Inspirational read and mind blowing

Overview of characterological defenses

This is by far the best overview of characterological defenses I have encountered in my professional life. An absolutely valuable resource for Bioenergetics and Core Energetics practitioners and any mental health and/or wellness modality based in these defenses.

A must- read/ listen book

Listen to that book if you want to understand yourself and others so you can experience your best possible life

Start with this self-discovery book!

This is a fantastic resource, not some magic bullet but the beginning of a journey. The information presented is the most helpful I have read for understanding self and how and why we interact with the world. So much of our personality is shaped by childhood traumas. This book is heavy and eye opening for exploration of self and why our lives are full of suffering. It provides analyses for understanding and practices for healing. This is not a book you read once and set down, rather is is a resource that you will need to return to. Think of it as a window into deeper self exploration and healing. The book and additional resources provided in it allow you to climb through that window and start to heal.

The content was great!

The content was so spot on. It doesn’t work in audiobook form because the material is so complex. The gifts and the challenges work, however, I found myself wanting to diagram it out to better understand all the interactions. I intent to keep working with the material online and/or on my Kindle.

Fairies????

I was hooked until he got to commune with fairies and pixies. Don’t waste your credits on this book.
