Heart Wrenching and Justice Filled!

Love how cunning, resourceful, and strong the FMC is. My heart goes out to her for the journey she’s had to take so far, but loving getting to see her through it, still fighting for herself.

I hope the MMCs know what they’re doing or figure things out soon! I can’t wait to see how it all plays out in book 2!

Holy Toadshtupping Tadpoles!!

This book was everything! Sweet, hilarious, exciting, and heartbreaking! I laughed so much I literally choked, it was brilliant and I can’t wait to start book two. Add to that the accents and sass the narrators brought to the table and I’m in love! In love I tell you!! Read it! Read it now!! If you like why choose or shifter romance then read it!

Ive been waiting for this and it did NOT disappoint!

I have to say— this was totally a selfish purchase because I read this book last year and loved it.. and as soon as I saw it had come to audio I bought it so fast. I just knew I had to hear one of my fave stories in audio and was so excited! It was *wonderful.* The narrators absolutely nailed it. The southern drawl for Flor was on point. A lot of the time when a character has a deep southern drawl like that it’s either a) kinda annoying or b) sounds like a bad attempt at what people in the south sound like (not all the time, obviously. But it def happens!) but Allie Piper managed to sound like she grew up in the Deep South AND make the entire story sound fantastic. It was like I was there watching a movie and not just listening to a book. I think Ryan Stone had his work cut out for him because not only did he have to do the voices for multiple men, but each Alpha was from a different geographical location. The south like Flor, Canada, New York, The Mountains and South America. Thats a LOT of dialects to have to do and do well and he was *fantastic.* I could have told you which Alpha was speaking just based on his accents alone without even having the chapter headers, it was that good! As for the story— I looooove shifters. I love fated mates. I love rejected pack members and hurt/comfort and ommggg Merri went so above and beyond with this book! The first time I read it, I would keep going back to see when the next book (and the next) were coming out and then set alarm reminders for myself because this story was just so fantastic and I couldn’t wait for the next installment. Needless to say I’m going to be preordering the rest of the series in audio as well because it’s just an even more fun experience getting to listen to it! Poor Flor has gone through so much but she still manages to be strong and feisty and hilarious. She isn’t someone who refuses to take help from other people .. shes not “to stupid to life,” and there are multiple times when he heart breaks and your heart breaks right along with her. But she doesn’t let all these terrible things bring her down for long. She gets right back up and KEEPS FIGHTING. I think what’s fun about the “rejected mates” part of this is that so far its really Flor like “theres no way im putting myself in the position to get screwed over,” and outside of Finn all the other guys CLEARLY want her.. but they know how awful her life has been and are ok taking it slow and doing things at her pace and not trying to force any kind of bond with her because they see her trauma and want to work WITH her. Even if it could end terribly for them. Finn is going to have a comeuppance soon I think. He thinks hes doing the best thing he can to protect her and as we’ve all seen in the past—- that never ends the way it should😂 Needless to say I love all the characters.. and even though I know whats going to happen next I’m still anxiously awaiting the rest of the series on audio and am about to go feral (pun intended) waiting for book 4 coming out in April!!!!

I love Flor!!!

This is such a intriguing fated mate, wolf shifter story. The story kept me engrossed and wanting to know what happens next. the narrators we great and fit the characters well.
