About this listen

The big finish is finally here.

Izzy Sage, a bruja with a dark past, is dreaming of a bright future with Braden Grimlock. There’s only one thing that stands in her way.

Banished to a different plane for centuries, the god Pan has managed to escape. He has one goal. He wants to take over the world, starting with Detroit. The only thing standing in his way is Izzy and her merry band of misfits and reapers.

Pan set his plan in motion years ago, and it turns out, Izzy plays into it. He can’t win without her. She has no intention of playing the game by his rules, however. Not only is she going to take him down, but she’s also going to put an end to the revenant army that’s been threatening Detroit for the better part of a year.

Izzy knows what she wants. She even knows how to get it. All that’s left is the fight.

War is on the Grimlocks’ doorstep. The only question is who will win.

The end will make Izzy a legend…if she can survive long enough to see it through that is.

One of my favorites

This is one of the most fantastic endings to a series and if I didn’t know we will see them again in other series, I would cry. I love all the characters and the story is great. I highly recommend this series. Thank you AML for all your wonderful books.

Great Book/Series

Wonderfully plotted story. I hope the Grimlocks appear in more books (Luna gets her own series in 2023). I cried.

Sammy is maturing and is not such a mouthy kid. Angelina and Aisling have some ‘moments’ that also suggest growth. Ms Lee is very talented and the hardest working author in women’s fiction.

A wonderful ending to this series!

A wonderful ending to this series! Amanda M Lee Knocked this one out of the ballpark. I can’t believe the journey is over and in very sad to see it end. Hopefully we will see these same characters in other series because I believe there’s so much more story to be told. The ending was wrapped up beautifully there were no holes left I would recommend this series to anyone.

grim becomes satisfaction 🥰

with all the favourites under one roof, there’s no way the tide doesn’t turn, and the snark rebounds from the rafters=)
the end, of course, made me cry, even though we all saw it coming. i can only hope there’s more to come because, Redmond!!?! and Luna! i mean, doesn’t that mean there Has to be more?! come On, AML, give us what we want, you knooow you want to!!!

Mixed feelings

The narrator is great as always, and the story is good but it waists a lot of time with the main characters bickering and generally acting like spoiled children. The characters are one dimensional. Their main character traits are being angry and spoiled there is almost no character development throughout the series. Sarah Grace Wright is an exceptional narrator and that is what truly carries this book

Probably the best book in the series

Like many of Lee's recent offerings, the story gets bogged down a little in the middle with everyone talking about needing a plan, making a plan and listening to at least one person whine for being left out of the plan. However, there was a little less of that in this one. The real problem was that the cast of characters got to big by the end.

Good ending to a good series, though. Pretty predictable, but good anyway.

Good

While I like these stories, I don’t care for the inconsistencies from book to book (which happens in all of the authors series). For example, Luna decoded the book of the ferriers like two books ago and yet, in this book, it’s not decoded at all yet. Bugs me as a reader.

Guessing Luna’s story is the next series though, which is exciting.

performance was awful!

The story was good, but the way the story was told was awful 😖 I couldn't even imagine how the characters talked. It was so boringly read that I couldn't even listen.
