Ofelia lives in a magical world, a world where she’s often the queen. This time, she may be in over her head. The stakes are too high to abandon the mission, though, and she’ll do whatever it takes to find out the truth...even if it will leave a scar on the city she loves so much.

tired of the men always being in charge

Sadly this series has gone into a pattern of the men running the lives of the women. In this series, the man Sully ends up pushing the father of Ophelia around as well. I won't be reading anymore

Fun listen!

I liked the narrators voice, she did a great job! This is the first novel I listened to in the series, just
found it by chance, I'm starting back book 1 now!

To much describption of what Sully and Miss Archer were.
A shift shifter and a witch other than that like it.

The ending was fab!

I like strong, snarky female characters so Ofelia has everything I need to fall for her. Her patience and kindness to her mentally ill father are much more than I could manage. Great series!
