Typical Felic branches in a good way

It really is a typical Felix Francis book but I liked it a lot. I always like the stories about horse racing steeplechase things over in Britain. No big surprises. Good narrator. Well written.

I keep getting his books, hoping he becomes his father

The story was good, but there were far too many holes in the logic and the characters aren’t developed all that well. I really wanted it to be better.

Still good fun

Wandering at times but nobody does English horse racing like the Francis family. Good fun , good read.

Classic Francis story!

Thank you Felix for carrying on your Father’s work by continuing to write amazing and intriguing books. Dick Francis has been my favorite author since the 1980s, and nothing has pleased me more than reading Felix’s books as well.
This book, “No Reserve”, is a classic Francis story with all of the characters, plot lines, and twists and turns that fans have come to know and love.

Felix Francis is gaining on his father's lead

Felix Francis is gaining on his father's lead. I hadn't read one of Felix's titles in quite a while and was really pleased with his improved work. No Reserve is an entertaining story with a mystery worth solving plus interesting characters. Good narration carries it over the finish line in ribbon-winning fashion. I'm ready to listen to the next one!

Great Story But….

The story and insights into the world of horse racing was great. However, the use of such an elderly narrator certainly detracted from the presentation of the story! The voice and speaking style does not match up with characters in their twenties or thirties!
