An Internet stalker turned serial killer...
Jake Lassiter follows clues from Miami to London...
And gets framed for murder himself.

The murder of one of the computer dating service Compu-Mate's clients sends Miami trial lawyer Jake Lassiter and retired coroner Dr. Charlie Riggs on the trail of a killer that leads them to a London insane asylum.

"Paul Levine is one of Florida's great writers, and Jake Lassiter is his greatest creation." - Dave Barry

The book is good except for a totally unnecessary 3 1/2 hours. When Jake gets on plane to London, fast forward 3 1/2 hours. U won't miss a thing.

Skip three and 1/2 hours

For the price this is worth the money. Personally I love almost anything narrated by Luke Daniels he, always in my experience, is one who makes the book better. He has a talent for all the characters, his tone and expression will keep you interested. If you enjoy legal stories give this one a go.

Legal Book + Luke Daniels = Great Listen!

I don't often review the books I read. Simple because I read so many. And who am I to recommend or dissuade a reader about an author's work? Some of the reviews I have read here on Amazon are ridiculous. All I want to say about this series is that it's very good. In my humble opinion. Paul Levine is one of my favorite author's. I'm going to read everything he has written and I can't wait!

This is a great series

This book has everything you never thought of. It keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through.

This scary case

Having read several of the Jake Lassiter books I like the main character and Doc Riggs. However, the performance was so ear-gratingly over the top with several of the characters that I almost gave up listening several times.

Decent story, if a bit predictable

Reading this in 2022 is really interesting considering the proliferation of evolution “bulletin boards” but the underlying sexual deviance & violence was too extreme for my taste.

Not my favorite

The book is well written, but the setting is not enjoyable unless you like psycho babble. His first book was a 5 star!

Plenty of suspence

The narration is great, as usual. The story is a little slow at the beginning, but setting the background pays off at the end. Ignore suggestions in the comments to skip the London trip. It's important later. As usual, I really enjoyed this Jake Lassiter story.

Great Story and Narration

Night Vision, first released in the early 1990s, is likely one of the earliest novels dealing with online dating web sites and online stalking. This was at a time that virtually everyone with Internet access used dial-up modems with state of the art maximum speeds being 14400 bits per second (it took 2 hours to download what my cable modem can download in one second). This novel sees Paul Lassiter appointed special prosecutor in a serial murder case. His investigation takes him from Miami to London UK and back. There are several interesting twists. Luke Daniels narrates superbly.

Solid 4 star legal thriller!

Jake Lassiter is back in a new legal thriller. While not quite as good as the first book in the series, Night Vision is still an engaging and entertaining thriller as Jake and his friends attempt to track down serial killer who is picking his victims off a dating website. As always Luke Daniels performance is top notch.

Solid legal thriller.
