Descriptive landscape

The character development is rich along with a description of the landscape. Enjoyed the arch of the story. You have empathy for the heroine.

Great story and Development

The story was well-developed, held the reader's interest and had unexpected events. The characters evolved and were believable. Readers can truly empathize with them. Good book for a book club to discuss.

Mixed themes

There were many things I liked about this book, but was not prepared for the heavy use of romance novel genre. I found it tedious and wished the story was done without all the romance scenarios.
