The abusive boyfriend comes to Mercy car repair shop to kill her because Adam has allowed his ex-wife to stay with the pack and he is more powerful then Adam’s ex has described.

Patricia Briggs never disappoints

I don't even care what is the story. I just automatically get the latest Mercy Thompson-Hauptman novel. This one did not disappoint.

It always takes me a minute or two to realize I'm in a Mercy Thompson book and not a Stephanie Plum novel because Lorelai King narrates both series. Lorelai is an awesome narrator though, so I quickly get over it. I love both series. By now, all of the characters have such a history and depth. Lorelai brings the right tone to the story. Great Job! I will get the next one as soon as it is available.
