Publisher's summary

The gripping new instalment in the William Warwick series, An Eye for an Eye, is available to pre-order now!

“Only someone like Jeffrey Archer … could have written a compelling story like this. Every page bristles with suspense and the ending comes at you with the force of a tank round”—DAVID BALDACCI

THE UNPUTDOWNABLE THRILLER FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE CLIFTON CHRONICLES – PERFECT FOR FANS OF KEN FOLLET, JOHN GRISHAM and DANIEL SILVA

London, 1988. Royal fever sweeps the nation as Britain falls in love with the ‘people’s princess’, Princess Diana. Which means for Scotland Yard, the focus is on the elite Royalty Protection Command, and its commanding officer. Entrusted with protecting the most famous family on earth, they quite simply have to be the best. A weak link could spell disaster.

Detective Chief Inspector William Warwick and his Scotland Yard squad are sent in to investigate the team. Maverick ex-undercover operative Ross Hogan is charged with a very sensitive—and unique—responsibility. But it soon becomes clear the problems in Royalty Protection are just the beginning. A renegade organization has the security of the country—and the Crown—in its sights. The only question is which target is next in line…

Love the narration

The stories are ok but the narrator makes worth the money! I only got into this series because of the narrator.

Excellent, excellent, excellent

The story line was gripping and the narrator so talented at making sure you knew which character was speaking. It was a first class book for me, as I don’t like books too graphic in their murder, or sex scenes. Archer, keeps the suspense, without lowering the tone. He really is an artist with his story telling. The narrator was excellent also.

Great storytelling

This was a perfect follow up in the William Warrick series. There are returning characters to enjoy and a new challenge to solve. Very good, sorry for it to end.

The short story

I dislike that the stories are not long enough. Too many loose ends. The cost is too much for these dinky works.

Best in the series in my opinion

Loved every minute of it, sometimes it seems for every step forward three steps backward are taken with the plots of this author and series. This one had new twists and more winning, I can't wait until the next in the series
