About this listen

A powerful technology for producing change.

When we first encountered NLP more than a dozen years ago, we realized it represented a paradigm shift - a completely new way of thinking that makes heightened achievement levels and personal transformation possible.

Here's the great reality about NLP: If one person can do something, anyone else can learn how to do it! Now, human excellence can be systematically studied, then reproduced. Just as you can learn to ski, drive, or use a computer, so too can you learn to apply the core achievement skills: motivation, persuasion, confidence and self-esteem.

In this program, some of the nation's outstanding NLP trainers will share the same strategies they have taught thousands of NLP Comprehensive seminar participants. You'll learn:

  • How your motivation strategy works and how to use it at will.
  • How to eliminate past limitations and gain confidence in your future.
  • How to set your goals and future mission.
  • How to apply specific processes to gain deep self-appreciation and self-esteem.

Great Book

It's definitely a great book. I found it difficult to listen to some of the readers because of their monotone voices, but if you can get past this, you're in for a treat.

Right To the skinny of NLP

Went from start to finish to review again. Didn't put it down and repeated focusing, on the concepts that I wanted to review.

practical but requires repetition

The 4 star rating is mostly because I was hoping for more of an explanation about why NLP works and more information that would help me become a casual practitioner.

That said, I enjoyed the content and found it useful and practical. If you have certain extreme conditions such as a phobia, the book may help you overcome it in a single session but otherwise the the techniques will take practice to build habits, just like anything else.

Helpful information

As a hypnotist, NLP is not new to me, but it is nice to review the principles in redesigning a personal identity.

Great NLP exercises

I am studying NLP and it's really fascinating! There are a lot of techniques which can get a bit confusing. This book is nice as an accompaniment to a more comprehensive program as it provides really great exercises. You get a direct learning experience if you are willing to participate in them.
The book is chunked into 6 topics, in 6 chapters, with 6 different presenters. You can focus on one part at a time and note your progress. This format also makes it easy to go back and review and refresh in any or all of these areas. I highly recommend this to any NLP student.

NLP is a wonderful process…

As a practitioner I do appreciate the entire process of helping people find simple solutions to things that they might struggle with. This is a much better approach than psychoanalysis which might uncover the events of your past which could be holding you back but doesn't necessarily bring resolution. NLP works and this book does a pretty good job of explaining the process that started some 40 years ago

Strategies that work. Period.

NLP is time-tested and proven. The strategies are nothing short of miraculous, IF you take them seriously.

Fully transformative, they have the power to utterly reshape your future into your *ideal* and best life from a position of empowerment.

Read the book ... ingest the processes ... become your best ... then pay it forward and help some else who needs this knowledge. “Older you” will love you for it! (Wink wink!)

If I have Listened to Nay Sayers

This book is about doing not why. Doesn’t most book tell you why youre doing things not how? NLP requires deep understanding and this is not a comprehensive book. It’s not a good start for a why person who doesnt have prior NLP knowledge, It is an excellent book for expanding & understanding NLP
