blew me away, fantastic book.

The book is absolutely perfect. I could not put this one down. It grabs you from the very introduction into a world that only the vast minds of the Greeks and Romans could have imagined. iIt goes into a lot of depth to get the gods, monsters, mortals, and warriors of all the Greek and Roman stories across to the reader. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get a better look into the world of Greek and Roman mythology. The stories are very informative, telling why what happened, whether or not for this reason or that. This book was a completely and outstandingly well-written book.

Really good for intense studies and fun to read.

This is a fun book to have. Contains a summarized version of the Greek Myths. I feel myself Greek so it helped me to improve on what i didn't know on my country Greece! i TOTALLY RECOMMEND ...

Highly recommended Greek Mythology book.

I was looking for a god family tree of the Greek gods and a good reference to all the. "Monsters" and how they came about. This book gave me exactly that and it was just what i was looking for.
This book was excellent. It gives a detailed account of the gods and Titans associated with Greek mythology.

A great book to read if you want to learn

A great book to read if you want to learn about Greek/Egyptian mythology in a summarized/third person format. It has a couple of "outdated" words, but still good to understand at. I'd recommend it to anybody who loves the Greek Mythology, Norse Mythology, and Egyptian Heroes enduring their perilous adventures.

Matt Clayton did a fantastic job for me.

This book is great for those interested in the myths. It describes (in order of power and rank) the Gods in both Greek and Roman name. It focuses more on the Roman names but in the beginning, tells who their Greek name as well. The book is flexible and easy to carry in a large purse. HIglights many well-known stories that you may have heard of as a child. Highly recommended! Kathy Marques

Classically Beautiful

Classic information in a truly beautifully laid out book. As a teacher, I was impressed with this tome. As a 12-year-old, my son found this to be one of her favorite ...foregoing him new electronic games in favor of reading this book. He hasn't yet studied mythology in school, but is now eager for it!

This book is probably the best one I've read in about 2 years. And I got it 6 days ago! From the Oracle Oak Leaves to the Quill and 'parchment', I enjoyed everything about this book and I urge you to buy a copy today!!!!

Indeed unforgettable book.

One of my favorite books thru my whole life (from few days). Matt Clayton was a well-versed Greek scholar and takes everything in her book from the originals. Mat also gives us constant tastes of those originals. Norse legends threw in as well. A book filled with wonders, no child should grow up without it.

Beautifully described audio book.

Beautiful. I always thought mythology was interesting as a kid, and even now as an adult. I got this to read to my kids at bed time and they love it.
However, it's a little too dense and difficult for the kids but a best one for adults.

Favorite most, till today.

The quality of the stories captured in this volume is excellent and the retelling by Matt Clayton engages the reader, or, in this case, the listener. One of the best features of this unabridged collection is the fact that Matt Clayton includes the source of the myth before it is told, helping to shape the background for the listener. It was quite pleasant to see the names that my classmates and I had struggled with during high school flow so effortlessly off the narrator's tongue. Best and my most favorite book.
