About this listen

Gamer vs Player.

Some girls have a dream guy, but Suzie's ideal boyfriend is totally real. He’s just...virtual.

Suzie doesn't need to see her online gaming buddy to know that he’s her perfect match. The problem lies in reality, AKA high school. Ever since a humiliating photo of her surfaced on the first day of senior year, she hasn't been able to escape the attention of Luke Warner, the hottie player who's apparently made it his mission to annoy her. Now that they're paired together in a programming contest there's no way she can avoid him...or their chemistry. His unexpected kisses might be earth shattering, but he’s so not her type.

Luke's got a secret, and it's one that could change everything between him and his new computer science partner. Suzie thinks he doesn’t know her at all, and she seems convinced that she doesn’t like him. But what if she knew that he was her online BFF? That would change everything. But will sharing his secret bring them together or tear them apart?

Okay, yeah, I kinda figured it was them.

I *heart* Luke! I remember having an online gaming bestie like that when I was younger and it was everything. I'm glad they had each other to confide in with their problems. But one thing I hated was how Margo (in the previous book) along with Suzie and Matt couldn't see that Jason and Luke were not friends with Supreme Moronic Leader and Resident Mean Girl. Sure, they hang around in the same social circles, but that didn't mean they were ACTUALLY friends. Luke just needed an excuse to escape from his father so he went to their parties, acquaintances be damned. Meanwhile, Jason needed to keep the guys in line as captain of the football team. I was also super peeved with Matt and his hang-ups with US vs. THEM mentality. Thankfully, Suzie Q proved to be super wise in that she recognizes holding on to anger only hurts herself. She and Luke make such a great team. They truly deserve their HEA! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Not Everyone is How They Appear

Title: My Virtual Prince Charming
Author: Maggie Dallen
Format: Audio
Narrators: Lauren Fortgang, Graham Halstead
Genre: YA Romance
Standalone: Yes but better if you read Love at First Fight first
Part of a Series: Book 2 of the Geeks Gone Wild series
POV: Suzie and Luke
Steam Level: Just kissing
4/5

My Virtual Prince Charming is the second book in the Geeks Gone Wild series. While, technically, you could probably read this book on its own, it would definitely be better if you read Book 1: Love at First Fight first. My Virtual Prince Charming starts after Love at First Fight ends and you don't really see the fallout from the infamous picture. However, you do find out who took it and how it got into the slide show. I enjoy the world and characters that Maggie Dallen creates in this series and I can't wait to read Matt's book!

I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession. This is my honest and voluntary review.

My Virtual Prince Charming

Talk about opposites attract. Susie is a computer geek that loves to game. Luke is a jock that has a secret gaming obsession. When they find common ground sparks fly.

Coolest Geek and Jock Ever

I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. Great YA book. This book covers all the emotions. It is funny, sad, intriguing and exciting. A computer game brings a jock and a nerd together. Very cute book. The narrators were great for this high school story.

Sweet Teen Romance

The perfect mix of sweet teen romance and geeky fandoms. I loved book one and book 2 was just as good. This series reminds me of Geekerella. I'd definitely recommend for all those hardcore fans of comic con and book events. You'll find yourself smiling through the story.

Great 2nd book.

Great second book of a series! I enjoyed the main characters, Luke and Suzie, even more than the previous book. There was some good little bits of the continuation of the main storyline that will follow through the trilogy. I am not into gaming and even though that is was Luke and Suzie are into it was kept light enough that I did not feel bored from gaming details. Very cute story!
I think ill let my daughter listen to these.. 🎧AudiobookObsession

cute story

Susie and Luke both are into online gaming. They are playing each other using anonymous names. Chatting with each other, telling their innermost secrets and not knowing they go to the same school. Luke found out by accident, that Susie was the person he has been chatting and playing with. He's intrigued by her, and wants to get to know her on a personal level. Susie questions his motives, why is he interested in me? He's a jock, I'm a computer geek! As he gets to know her better, he doesn't know how to tell her that hes the one shes been playing the game with.. Will it harm their friendship? Will she ever trust him again? Will she ever forgive him by not telling her sooner?
Maggie Dallen story is about truth, lies, forgiveness and friendship. Lauren Fortgang, and Graham Halstead narration is good. Full of emotion entertaining and fun to listen to. 🎧audiobookobsessionreview🎧
