I know I should walk away from him. That I should go back to keeping our tutoring sessions strictly professional . . . But I don't want to.

Great story

This was an easy light listen nothing too deep and fairly predictable but that’s what I liked about it! I needed a good mindless love story and this one held my attention all the way through without too much drama. The characters were easy to love and the writing was really good!

The only thing that caught me off guard in this story was that the MMC and the MFC thought they where half siblings at one point. it kind of dragged on longer than I thought necessary and it was fairly obvious to me that his dad wasn’t her dad like they thought. I get there had to be some type of challenge the couple had to face in order to make the book interesting and this wasn’t really a bad turn of events I just thought it drug on longer than needed.
This was my only dislike though and I love the banter Ava and Carter had through the whole book and their backstory’s made you love them even more! Overall I recommend giving it a listen!

Quick cute read

I liked the witty banter between the ML and FL, and overall, this was a cute and fluffy read. I just quite didn’t like the plot twist - but I guess some trouble has to happen at some point after they get together, before they get they happy ever after.

HEA with angst

Author, Judy does it again. Real life problems and a story with heart. Twists that you won’t think the author will do but not too intense. I love this new series and group of friends. Great start and a brilliant way of introducing this group of characters and new world. The male narrator didn’t do very well at distinguishing between other male characters in dialogue.

BEST BOOK EVER

As soon as I finished the book I wanted to listen to their whole life as a book. It was a Wonderful read the romance is so cute! Carter and Ava make such a cute couple. I thought for a second that Ava and Carter were half siblings for a second because Ava says how she could imagen being in a family like the Hastings. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the book. PLEASE make another book following up with Carter and Ava! Highly suggest this book.

Fast bubbly read

Just Corey’s books are so well written and the characters all have such a depth to their storyline which is so refreshing in a YA book. Narration is great as always - can’t go wrong with Bentley and Utah.

One of my all-time favorites!

I have been a Judy Corry fan since her first books came out and absolutely adore The Charade. Ava and Carter are such fun characters and had me laughing and smiling and swooning the whole time.
Forbidden romance is my favorite trope so this book hit my sweet spot with that.
I also teared up a few times which is what I love about Judy’s books. She really knows how to evoke all the emotions I want to feel when reading.
The narrators did an amazing job too! I loved the story when I read it on my kindle last year. But having it narrated by such talented people just took it to a whole other level. I’m so excited to see what they do with the rest if the books in my favorite series. 🥰

I didn’t want to out the book down!! I had to buy the whole series!

great PG high school romance

I liked the story and plot twist. I liked both main characters as well. I wish there was a bit more depth with how the main characters interacted with the rest of the characters in the book but it was very well written. I know this is based on high schoolers but a little more spice wouldn't hurt either.

SO SO GOOD

I loved this book so much I was a little bit curious how much I would like it because it’s young adult, but I loved it. I had a little bit of anxiety if you know you know, but this book was more than I could’ve imagined. It was so romantic and sweet and fluffy and just made me giggle but also swoon at the same time. if I could forget it and read it all over again I would it’s so good please read.
