What a hoot! & yet, it keeps you guessing “what next?”

I have been listening to this series off and on for years. I have throughly enjoyed each book I listened to (none in order, all great!). I took advantage of an Audible special to purchase the first two books in the series. I couldn’t put the first book in the series down! Just like the other Donna Andrews’ stories, I found myself laughing out loud throughout most of the book. If you are looking for an amusing, wonderful mystery, any of Donna Andrews’ books in this series is the book for you.

Clever and funny mystery!

I am writing this after having listened to many more books in the series. I liked this audiobook very much right away. It was witty, quirky, and well-written. Also, the narrator was top-notch. However, the series soon became a favorite after listening to a couple more of the audiobooks. I’ve listened to/read some other cozy mysteries with extraneous and repetitive writing, as well as very poor sentence structure. I appreciated Ms. Andrews writing all the more. Furthermore, the family and close friends who reappear in the series are truly endearing. I highly recommend this delightful series.

Constant twists!

Fun cozy mystery with plenty of twists and turns till the very end! Will definitely continue the series!

Really good book

i am jumping with joy. They finally produced the 1st book of this series in audio format. I love Meg and her family and friends. Lots of humor and the mystery is always great.

I wanted to like it, but

Main character got on my nerve with her constant complaining about being in charge of wedding planning. I got this book to listen on a road trip. It was okay...but not sure if I will continue the series

Great story, okay narrator

I love this book, and I'm so happy to find a prolific writer I'd never heard of before. Bernadette Dunne is fine as narrator. Her voice doesn't match my mental picture of the first-person narrator, but she's a good reader and doesn't ruin the story.

Charming and a great mystery

One of the best books I have read in this genre. Characters are well developed. Narrator is excellent. The plot and story twists and turns. I highly recommend!

Loved the story and characters!

The storyline was very good! It wasn’t easy to figure out and all of the clues leading this way and that were very convincing. The colorful characters really make the story great! I’ve found a new series to enjoy!

Easy to listen to. Narrator is ok, not the best, but not the worst either.
