Fun-Sized Mystery for Theater Fans

This is a great short story to listen to when you have a bit of time to fill. The narrator is great and Nita Prose never disappoints. Get ready to enter a grand old theater and meet an eclectic group of characters. Details about the atmosphere of the theater and the people who inhabit it is spot on for anyone who has tread the boards or helped out backstage. Fun mystery to solve in just under an hour!

Good short story

A wonderful short story! Recommended to listen the voice was amazing! I truly enjoyed it and will be listening more.

RADIO NOIR

I have to say that this was like listening to the radio show before there was tv.

I love the scene set up and the twist and turns of the story right along with the final twist that was sitting in your face the ENTIRE TIME!!!!!

The narraor was excellent in emotion, and twist portrayals and the way that each charactter has s very distinct sound.

Killer Novella

I love short little novellas that pack a punch and Murder at the Royal Ruby is just that! I think it's an awesome start to what will prove to be a killer (all puns intended) Obsession Collection! I cannot wait to dive into the rest of the books, because if they're all half as good as this one, then it will be hard to be this collection of mystery novellas!

This was the first book that I've read by Nita Prose but certainly won't be my last.

Murder at the Royal Ruby was narrated by Jess Nahikian, who I felt fit the part perfectly! This might have even been my first listen of hers, but again...won't be my last!

Like I said...I can't wait to see what the rest of this collection, and Nita Prose has in store!

Good Story

The story is good and engaging. I enjoyed the performance and would recommend to people who enjoy mysteries.

Royal Ruby?

It was fantastic, my type of short story, mysterious, taunting, imagery, villain and quick spectacular

It’s good but

I really liked the story even tho there was a bit of repetition. If something needs to be reiterated then I think it can be said in a different way rather than insulting the reader. But it was the ending. It was actually expected and I had hoped for more.

Great narration

The story…. Not so much. Perhaps I’m just obtuse, but I thought it could have been better.

I stumbled into this book at 4 in the morning after scrolling on kindle and finding Minka Kent’s book in this collection. I figured I’d just read them all in order. I’m not disappointed with this read. I love second-guessing myself in murder mysteries, it makes it fun and if the rest of Nita’s books are like this then I look forward to reading more from this author.
