A brave girl

I loved how she was able to navigate her life in both worlds to save herself and come up with a better life.

The story line

I loved this short story. Please please write it into a novel. So so good!

I LOVED THIS!

Can you imagine? An Italian mob family, taking in an orphaned black baby. Protecting her, and showing her as much love as they show their own children? Yeah, I can't either. But I love it regardless.

Good read

Now this was a different listen from the others but it definitely got to the action close to the end and it saved the story.

Ugh, Alonso. Family is always a complicated matter. Carlotta’s story was a bit meandering. I was hoping she’d choose to be with Walter.

It's beautifully written!!

Carlotta "Lottie" is not your typical climb up the mafia ladder!!!! She's done her dirt but she has a plan to keep her family in The Don's seat no matter the cost!!
