Outstanding continuation of a compelling and heartfelt storyline.

Very pleased with with book two. An excellent follow up and smooth continuous storyline. Highly recommend for different audiobook listen.

A Well Told Story with Great Character!

Loved the development of Jason as an American doctor & his parental struggles with his ward Micah. And the combination of Daniel as investigator made you think of Sherlock's relationship with Watson on a more humble accent.

Another Good Mystery

I'm really enjoying this series. it is well written and has great characters developed well and with memorable qualities. Story was first rate and very well planned out.

Great second novel in this series!

We really enjoyed this novel and continue to love the team of Daniel and Jason!

The story line keeps moving forward

This is going to be a great series. I like being able listen to a book that doesn’t constantly repeat the background of the main characters over and over. I also very much appreciate the fact that blow by blow sex acts and foul language are not in the book. My imagination is sufficient. I look forward to listening to the entire series

I am in love with this series

This series has it all- two great leads, a historical setting, great stories, wonderful perpheral characters, medical details, English countryside.

Good story, so so narration.

The plot was good, although it was obvious from the beginning who the murderer was. The narrator did a good job with the exception of the American accent. Worth a credit.

Overall Good Story

I enjoyed the story and the narrator did great with her English and Irish accents. However, her American accent was not accurate. The character was supposed to be from New York yet he had a Southern American accent. I almost didn't listen to the story when I first started and I was going to ask for a refund of my credit because that incorrect accent is so annoying (knowing the character is supposed to be from New York), but I gave it a chance anyway. The narrator needs to work on her American accents. I would have given the Overall five stars but the incorrect accent caused me to deduct a star.

I’ve really enjoyed this series so far! I even went to Kindle books on Amazon and will read the third book in this series!!!! It does seem like the Doctor is the one who solves the mysteries more than Daniel tho!!!
